Breakfast is worth the add-on. It’s like an extra $5-10 a day, which is about what could get at a cafe elsewhere in the city. But it’s great if you want to just eat and then head out. There is very little / not very good vegetarian options, FYI. Beds are super comfy, the blackout curtains are great as well. Having plugs and personalized lights is so wonderful, compared to other hostels. The guided tours were amazingly, and the WiFi actually works which is so helpful. There are also areas for you to work, but gotta shoo some people speaking loudly or taking calls to find another area. The staff’s English is really good, and they’re super helpful. Bathroom is cleaned daily. Lockers are spacious, so you get one under your bed, and one in the bathroom. You even get cubbies for your bathroom supplies (like toothbrush, toothpaste).

The breakfast is extremely satisfactory and enjoyable. croissants hot, fruits fresh and delicious.Maybe there could have been some tea, or maybe there was, I may not have seen it. :) room lighting, cleaning, room ventilation, always hot water, facility facilities, wifi, caring and helpful approach of the staff, . pub crawl team, city tour guy, receptions, bartenders, you were all great. I have already told many of my friends about you. Cheers guys!

Rooms were a bit dark and ventilation was poor. If the door to balcony is not open then inside can be poor in air quality. Bathroom door was broken, so unable to lock when having shower.

Ambience, staff were great. They are so helpful. The bar was affordable and lobby was also comfy.

- Room was a bit hot at night but it was too loud to leave the patio door open - It always bothers me when hostels nickel and some you by charging for a towel. I mean, come on, do you want people not to shower?

My ideal bunk design: sturdy( built-in bunks with curtains, a shelf, outlet, light, and lockable storage drawer. Cute lobby, excellent location in the funky La Latina neighborhood, and very helpful staff. Reasonably quiet at night.

It's absolutely beautiful hostel. Location perfect, staff is very helpful, fine people, who always give an advice & it's a pleasure to contact them. Everything is clean, comfortable beds. Spaces are nice to stay longer and do your things, work, etc..

Breakfast had a limited selection and not all the food was to our taste. The hotel consists of two buildings, and between them is a very busy hotel bar. It was lovely and vibrant, but also quite noisy.

The hotel has a very cool design and has a great atmosphere, especially for younger guests. The rooms are spacious, renovated, very clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful.

We had a great stay at the Central house as a family of five. We had booked the apartment on the top floor, which was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk beds, which were comfortable and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and happy to help with any queries. The location was great too - we were able to walk to all the main sites and the area felt safe and lively with lots of nice restaurants and it was fun to just wander around and explore. We'd love to come back for our next stay in Madrid!
