The waterproof mattress cover a thick blanket on the bed causes some discomfort. 500 euro deposit on check in and more than 2 weeks after we are back at home it is NOT RETURNED YET.

breakfast is not very abundant, but good, several standard choices every morning and a changing "national" menu. The environment is beautiful and tidy. Very spacious and modern apartments. The pool with lovely view over the sea.

There was a lot of flies. They could have provided some more basic toiletries like toothbrush or toothpaste but other than that it was amazing

The room was very spacious and we had a beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean. The staff was amazingly friendly, especially Julio and Thomas. Amazing recommendations and suggestions from them.

There's not much to do with children if you don't bring them to the kids camp.

Was surprised to have to pay a 500 euro deposit on check in. They actually charged our credit card, and it has taken all week since we left to get it returned. Not sure how they would justify keeping any of it, but surely 150 euros would be plenty. Although it was billed as a self catering property, the unit we had was rather lacking in adequate cooking utensils. Perhaps most visitors eat out?

Friendly, helpful reception, apartment was ready when we arrived early. Got upgraded to a two bed very near reception which was a bonus. The Abama estate including the Ritz Carlton hotel is huge, with possibly hundreds of properties and more under construction. Although there are courtesy shuttles available, there’s nowhere really to walk so in our opinion, a car is a must. The nearest village with any shops or facilities was about 10 minutes by car. Golf course was very busy, slow and pricey even at residents discounted rates. One of the most difficult courses we’ve played anywhere. Breakfast buffet was OK, and dinner in the evenings in the two restaurants attached to the apartments was fine with good, helpful service. Three swimming pools and an underground car park were most welcome. Room cleaning was available if you asked for it, not a daily automatic service. Nice big bed, and good shower. Overall an OK experience.

Our family spent two sportive & sunny weeks and had a perfect time. The spacious apartment was tastefully furnished, completely equipped, fast Wifi everywhere (!), and huge balconies with sea-views & sunsets. Bedrooms were comfy, quiet and totally dark (thanks to shutters). Super-friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurants (Melvin, Jardines, pool-bar, etc.), plus several more in the neighbouring Ritz Carlton hotel (complimentary shuttle service by car or a 2 minutes ride with self-driven electric cart (daily rentals at the reception). Three nice pools, never crowded, and very beautiful gardens all over the premises. Short-term-bookings for golf (lessons and green-fees, with sedated twilight-options after 3 pm) and tennis, all next door, were uncomplicated, and our trainers Sebastian & Sergio were really exceptional. The location is a few miles away from southern turmoils (Costa Adeje, Las Americas) and northern tranquillities (Los Gigantes (swim the nature pool!), San Juan). Passing through the spectacular Teide National Parc to Puerto de la Cruz takes 90 minutes by car, Santa Cruz / La Laguna is 60 min. via TF1. Unthinkable to find a nicer habitat on Tenerife - we will definitely return.

Dislike: 1) Only few vegan/vegetarian food options in restaurant

Like: 1) Feedback culture - had some hiccups on arrival, submitted feedback to management who then worked hard to accommodate. Service very good 2) Rooms - modern, large, clean. Kitchen could do with a more utensils (towels, etc) 3) View from the spotless hotel area towards sea

We had tiny ants in the villa, that was bothering. The check-in was late because of some reasons, so we lost lot of time waiting. Usually kids clubs are free of charge. But here it had a price-list.

Wonderful breakfast a la carte. Very nice staff, always eager to help. Territory is well-maintained. Villas are amazing, we had seaside view. Big terrace, lots of space. Kitchen amenities, dishwasher and washing machine with a dryer - everything for a comfortable stay. Kids club was great, my 4 y.o. was amazed and happy. 3 heated pools, the gym, amazing views. Comfortable shuttle to the beach and back. You can request additional services: car rental, excursions, etc - the crew of the hotel is very welcoming and helpful.

There is a big construction site next to the complex. Very noisy pile driving going on. The noise cannot really be heard at the pools or the lower levels but up at top of the complex at level 13 & 14 it is very noisy so cannot sit out on balcony from 8.30am to 5pm. We got a move from Block 13 down to Block 5 half way through our stay which helped a lot, so thanks to the staff for that.

Suite, balcony, breakfast, pools all excellent, cannot be faulted. It is on its own, well away from the big resort towns but only 5 minutes by taxi to a small town (San Juan) which has a few nice restaurants. While it is a large complex on a steep hill, shuttle buses (shout out to Thomas) are available. Staff are polite and professional.

There aren't any shops close by so we got a taxi to get groceries etc. Not enough loungers by the pools so we couldnt use the pool one day as all loungers were busy.

Excellent views, the pools were great. Nice bar by the reception, staff are polite. Rooms are spacious and have all facilities. Short distance to the beach and Ritz hotel- transfers arranged by the hotel. Lovely gardens. Great service on check in and check out.

Even if I would like, I would not be able to make it up! Gorgeous place!

You would not be able to imagine a more peaceful and relaxing place than this, especially coming with a child. Every day, we repeatedly noted that this was a true paradise! There are plenty of activities to do as well, such as infinity pools, gym, golf, tennis, and kids club. Just we were more interested in general relaxation, and the spacious, comfortable, cosy apartments were just what we needed! All the staff and their service were exceptional!
