The room we were given didn't have any windows, and the only light was a flickering white bulb which wasn't relaxing at all. The communal areas also didn't have any windows.

needed permission to use the kitchen, was refused a wifi password because I didn’t have a phone number, aggressively loud cleaning and shouting from early in the morning for hours - so much so that we left a day early just to be able to sleep. didn’t feel at all welcome.

Clean and comfortable. It is a hostel so in a shared room but I had no concerns about safety or security. Both hostess and other guests were very friendly. Booking.com had messed up my booking and had not confirmed my reservation to the hostess. However she went out of her way to arrange a bed for me. Very centrally located just off Plaza Mayor and close to all attractions

Communication was difficult. No windows in a very small three-bed room on a very hot night made it pretty uncomfortable.

Unforeseen changes in our travel plans meant that we arrived very late and although it was before the final check-in time listed on the website it was much later than the original time we had said we would be there and the host was, despite initial irritation, eventually gracious about this. Good shower and nice kitchen!

For my taste a bit hysterical with cleaning the bathroom after the use of it: We had to wipe every surface that was used after every use. That's a bit to much and generates too much garbage.

Choose the shared room with bunks - it is light and has windows for ventilation. Many of the individual rooms are nice “boxes” with no windows, no a/c and no ventilation. Fans are available but you have to ask. The one bath with a shower has real electric problems. The light often wouldn’t come on and then would arc electrical flashes. Since this room also has no windows it was completely dark. The electrical flashes continued off and on. I may be wrong but I think this type of electrical problem can be a fire hazard. All of the rooms had their main light switch outside the room in the hall. This meant that at 2 am when the guests who had been out “enjoying the town” returned they would flash the ceiling lights off and on in your room as they searched for the hall light…. Not my favorite way to be awoken in the middle of the night.

It might not be the most convenient place due to it's fourth - floor location (no elevator). Rooms don't come with a window and heat up under the flat roof. The place feels more like someone's home in which every room has been equipped with a bed inside.

The owner was very responsive. Due to the heat in the room, she managed to get a fan. Covid measures were taken very seriously. It was very centrally located. The place was clean and had quite some character (furniture wise).

There are a few stairs to negotiate to get up to the apartments and the entrance is not immediately obvious, although Google takes you to exactly to right point. Still it’s worth the stairs.

A wonderfully quirky B&B with a mix of room to sort everyone and good facilities. It had the feeling of living in a shared apartment. The host was lovely. Breakfast was very welcome.

The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, and there wasn't a way to set the sprayer in a bracket or anything, so it took a little while to shower. However, this was a relatively minor issue. Also, the place is on the fourth floor, which means a lot of stairs, but we knew this before booking and it really isn't anything that can be easily changed. Overall we were very happy with our stay here and especially with the host, who was so friendly and helpful!

Mentxu was super friendly and was very attentive. She showed us around when we got there so we knew where everything was and what we could use. The kitchen was very nice and updated, and we used it quite a few times during our stay to keep food in the refrigerator and to heat up food in the microwave. The bigger bathroom was very nicely updated as well. Our room didn't have a window, but we had a nice fan which helped keep us comfortable at night while sleeping.

I'm going to keep it short here - I never write reviews.... but this is just something out of space. Just read the Tripadvisor reviews and the bad ones here and you get an idea what kind of situation you may be facing here. The most mindblowingly idiotic experience ever with an accomodation. Whatever they may comment here, it is something they entirely just made up in their mind and buildt upon that. Avoid like the plague... you will probably have a better experience sleeping at the train station...
