Not a lot. Not the plushest but still excellent value considering cost.

Hosts warm and welcoming. Made great efforts to make you feel at home.Rooms clean bright and simple. Location and mountain views superb. Short walk to Potes. Great base for checking out Picos on motorcycle.

Property needs a little maintenance - light fitting in one room was hanging from the ceiling; the shower hose did not fit securely on the wall; water pressure was weak; the bed mattress was pretty hard.

Location and hosts (particularly the daughter Carmella who spoke English) were most hospitable and helpful.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Beautiful kept Hostal in great location. Owners are lovely people, single room with double bed and bathroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. A 2 min walk along good pavement takes into Potes. Parking right outside for motorbikes, would definitely stay here again.

I was made to feel very welcome from the start, the room was quiet and comfortable and parking for my motorcycle, although outside, was off road and secure.

The room was comfortable and clean and had a view of the hills. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly though we werent able to communicate much due to language differences. the location was about a 15 minute walk to Potes where we went for supper in the evenings. There was some parking infront of the hotel

The hotel is family run and staff are so friendly and helpful. The place is full of character with beautiful mountain views from the garden and back bedrooms. It's only a ten minute walk into Potes too. The garden is great - really spacious and green and a wonderful place to eat breakfast or just relax after a walk. They serve coffee and drinks and toast or cakes for breakfast but they were happy for us to supplement this with our own food and also kept things in the fridge for us. Overall,a brilliant place to stay. The restaurant next door is also great for lunch. Would happily come back and stay at Hostal Toscana again.

Absolutely nothing

The lovely family who run the hostal made us feel at home straight away. We stayed for 3 nights but we definitely wouldn't mind staying a bit longer. There's a terrace and a huge quiet garden to relax in when you come back from a hike in the Picos. It's also an easy stroll into Potes and therefore we prefer this location over busy Potes centre. It has free parking space and the rooms are clean. They also serve a simple breakfast each morning. We will definitely come back.

We stayed here about five weeks ago meeting friends, it was perfect for us, so we stayed again this week to meet more friends. We stroll into Potes, go to bars and restaurants and walk back. What more can you ask ? Enjoying yourself in Potes, having a good sleep and then enjoying a freshly prepared breakfast. We will be back again.

All was good.

The property is situated a short walk from the centre of Potes with it’s superb shops and restaurants. There is excellent parking for touring motorcycles outside. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean with views of the mountains across the valley. The owners of the hotel are very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for them. I will definitely be staying here again.

There;s nothing to dislike, It does what it says on the tin.

We were travelling around the Picos mountains on motorbikes and stopped here for two nights. This is a small family run hotel and only 15minutes walk into Potes centre. The owners were exeptionally helpful and friendly. The bikes were parked off road and in front of the hotel. The rooms were a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. We had a continental breakfast both mornings which consisted of coffee and cake. This is a well situated hotel for anyone touring in this area. It is certainy good value for money. Thanks Hotel Toscana, I'll hopefully be staying again in the future.

Excellent location, very close to good restaurants, short easy walk into town. Host’s were charming and very helpful. Even gave me complimentary cake and coffee on the morning I left. Really felt at home, thank you. Black Labrador is gorgeous.

Would have been nice to get coffee on the premises on morning 1 instead of going to a nearby cafe. However, coffee and toast was available on morning 2. Owner spoke no english but was friendly.

Good location for exploring the Picos. Good motorbike parking. Quiet (our room faced the rear and mountain).

Nothing not to like.

A lovely owner who was very welcoming. A great location for exploring the local area on foot or motorbike ride outs. If required tea/coffee and tostada available. Outdoor patio allowed us to sit and chill with a beer from the bar watching the world go by.
