I don't like dealing with codes and PIN numbers to get in to a hotel, I much prefer it when there is a person in Reception. I know there are staff there till 18'00 or maybe it's 19'00 but there wasn't anyone there when I got there and I hate faffing about with bits of paper and my phone and keying in numbers in order to get in. However, I return here again and again because it's so very handy for bus to train station etc

Location is wonderful - a two or three minute walk from the Alameda Principal in Málaga, and maybe a one minute walk from the market and all the cafes and bars and restaurants beside it. The staff are fabulous --- I've stayed here many times because it's so convenient from the airport and bus station --- and I've always found the staff to be really helpful and friendly

Probably a bit expensive for what it is. Other side of the river is definitely better value and not much further. No instructions for checkout.

Great location. Across the plaza from a good bar. Not too central to be noisy but right around the corner from everything. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower. Roof terrace.

AC works but was on it’s last legs, struggled to cool and it wasn’t that hot. Room had a nice balcony you step out on to, but no fly screen so not able to leave the door open at night for air flow.

Best thing about it is the location, close enough to the centre of the old town but not too close that you’re kept up all night with noise. Accommodated our bags before check in, and even though we didn’t stick around, included breakfast. Hotel staff were excellent, quick reply to messages and very accomodating.

The only thing - the system of electricity with the use of the card was unclear in the beginning and we had the feeling that the receptionist (who was very helpful with everything!) thought we were morons which we maybe were, who knows 😂, but since we have never seen this system before, I think we can be forgiven

The room was very clean, with air condition that needed some persuasion 😊 but in the end it worked fine. The bed was big and great, comfortable! Bathroom was perfectly clean and equipped with big towels and hair dryer and courtesy shampoo and soap. Also, the room has balcony and hotel has a terrace in 5th floor which we used in the evening 😊

A further attention to breakfast will make it a plus for guests! Just to have some fresh bread and juice will change everything. The use of plates and glasses will also be better than plastic and disposable items (just to avoid further waste)

In the city center and with a public parking nearby (around 25€ per day). Simple breakfast available and included in the price. Unfortunately our room was not facing the street but others I guess they are and with balcony. Very big bed!

Our room didn’t have balcony or view (I was made aware of this at booking). Inner view of very small courtyard. Would recommend asking for balcony room, if possible, especially in summer months.

Location is excellent. 15-20 min walk to Bus station (5e by taxi). 15 min from train station. Short walking distance to all major attractions (port, museums, cathedral). Plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms small but clean. Air con in room, essential in August! Very quiet despite central location.

Small room and noisy Aircon but it worked fine on a very hot day. Fine for a couple of nights.

I do not like hotels that have no staff on the reception desk after 8pm ---- on this occasion i hadn't been able to pay by online banking, i don't know why, my connection kept failing, and so i had to be at the hotel before the lovely young man on the desk left at 8. I see it happening more and more that there's no one on the desk after 7 or 8pm, and I am not a fan of this new custom.

I love the staff, and I love the location, which could not be bettered. I adore the market, and the best cortados in Málaga are to be had in the little bar-café opposite one of the entrances to the market. The hotel is only a few steps away - I had no problem at all getting there, and I was using a crutch at the time. It's also within easy walking distance of La Canasta and a wonderful, very old bodega on the Alameda Principal from where you can get buses to the train and bus stations, and to the airport.

Instructions to enter the hotel after 7pm when reception closed were burried at the bottom of a very long email. I had to use my laptop to find it which caused some anxiety. Also a confusing "damage deposit" procedure through a third party company.

I was pleasantly surprised to have breakfast included in the price. It was perfectly good for a buffet breakfast

Elevator wasn't working when we arrived and had to carry luggage up the stairs. Cleaning lady opened up the room to clean without even knocking and just leaving door open. Then whem she saw we were there, apologized for having opened wrong room.. But one should always knock first! Regardless if you are checking out that day or not. This was before check out time. The amount held on the credjt card takes 5 days to get back after check-out. The rooms are quite small, so perfectly fine for a 1-2 nights stay. But not longer.

Very clean rooms. Location is perfect, close to train station to airport and to city centre. All is walking distance.

Location was in the central city, near all the major monuments, and a 15 minute walk to the train/bus stations. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was newly renovated, very clean and comfortable.

Perfect location, around the corner from the market and very close to the centre with all the restaurants and shops!
