Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaBeside the price and kind staff, it's not a very appealing hotel. It's quite old and seems to need a big renovation. Furniture are wearing out and the bathtub was broken (there was a small hole.)
I stayed this hoel for one night on the way to Granada from Barcelona. I picked this hotel for price. It seems like it used to be a good hotel but now need renovation. However considering the cost, it's not bad. As the price was about 1/3 of other hotels I've booked in Spain, I'm still happy.

LithuaniaLack of normal blankets and night curtains. There was only thin sheet which might be enough to sleep under in very hot summer days, but in winter... well, at least we found one extra blanket in the wardrobe. But it's not big enough for two adults. Outside the window there's a shopping center and a big street. Curtains barely block the lights in the night.

United KingdomThe room had no cooling from the AC unit. So even in November it was very warm. Leaving the window open was quite noisy.
Big room, comfortable, good facilities. A place to have coffee if a full breakfast is not wanted. Parking. Very close to the motorway. 30 min walk to a train station to Valencia. Food outlets are very close.

LithuaniaAlthough the hotel is near the beach, you have to cross the road/bridge that does not have any sidewalks. Overall the hotel needs a bit more of a refresh, some things look outdated and not upkept. Also, it is good to keep in mind that the taxis from the hotel to Valencia are about 20€
The staff at the reception were very nice and friendly. Near the hotel you can find shopping area full of shops and places to eat/get food which was very convenient.

United StatesHotel room was very clean, staff was friendly and was able to speak English to us. The air conditioning works well and it was quiet when sleeping. It is very difficult to walk to the beach even though it’s so close. You have to cross the highway and it is quite dangerous, or you can go across this old bridge that is also quite dangerous. Walking into town take ~30 minutes. We were able to walk to the Carrefour next to the hotel and there are a few places to eat there, you can enter with your room key from the hotel side. Overall it was clean and nice, not a lot of easy access without a car though.

VenezuelaThe hotel is old, needs remodeling, and the bath curtains were old and dirty with mold. Our WC was cracked but operative. Our first room smelled of cigarettes, of course they gave us a new one. The bed is not comfortable nor the pillow. There is no fridge or small refrigerator. Hotel coffee shop is expensive and really bad customer service. One elevator was broken.
The location is great, close to nice beaches and Valencia center (15min). It has a mall so close, with Carrefour and different fast food places. The buffet is a regular one and a fair price (9 eur). The pool was Okay. Air conditioning works perfectly.

United KingdomAs above. There were no facilities open until 7.00pm so only a cold drinks vending machine. The restaurant was not opened at all. The bathroom was in need of tlc with cracked sink surround and grouting missing from tiles. Bedroom had obviously been refurbished. Only a supermarket available le for refreshments.
Not much. Although a lovely view of the sea with easy walking distance no way to get there.

United KingdomRooms would benefit from a coat of paint. Carpets in the hallways were threadbare. Breakfast was basic and the same everyday we were there and not really value for money to be honest. There is only fast food outlets to eat on an evening within walking distance, you need a car if staying here
Large hotel with good, free on site parking. Rooms were small but adequate. Decor was a bit tatty. Hotel staff very pleasant. Ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay. Not expensive. Large supermarket and fuel station next door.

FranceThe electronic room key didn't work twice. No rooms were available above the first floor as the others were closed due to low occupancy. The breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs were cold, bacon was greasy. Toaster only toasted one side of the bread so took twice the time to toast properly. The room was loud due to its location next to the main road and roundabout. Although double glazed, the sound insulation was poor.
Parking in front of the door was great but the hotel was almost empty. WIFI worked well.

United KingdomOur first allocated room temperature was 29deg against an outside air temperature of about 13deg. Our room was extremely hot and stuffy and we were told by the concierge that no room cooling is provided (only heating - and that didn’t work). The concierge suggested that we leave our room door wide open to try and cool it! After I complained we were moved to another room at the back of the hotel which was cooler and had a window which we could leave open. Also we wanted breakfast at 7am because we had a long drive ahead the next day, but we’re told that it would not be served until 8am due to public holiday. I expressed my dissatisfaction and later in the evening the concierge called to say that the kitchen staff could provide us with picnic take away breakfasts which would allow us to depart early morning. This offer was accepted - the hotel staff are to be commended for their actions to mitigate our dissatisfaction. Another problem was that none of the 230V electrical sockets appeared to work, so we had nowhere to plug in our mobile phone and laptop chargers. A good sized desk was provided but not desk lamp so desk lighting was inadequate.
Spacious room which had a comfortable bed, and a comfortable two seater settee in addition to a desk and upright chair. The bathroom was also spacious. plenty of private parking.

SpainLocation wise is bit of a problem. Without a car , every time coming to Valencia city had to take taxi. Also no such restaurants around only a regular Mac and Hollywood cafe. One supermarket. But clearly outskirt. This could be the reasons for not choosing someone travelling without a car.
Overall value for money. Decent comfortable room. Good breakfast without variation. good cleaniliness.

LatviaSeems that water pressure is not stable, when taking shower - water temperature constantly changing from hot to cold and back. Would be better, if breakfast could have more options - 7 days of omelet with bacon is little bit to hard :-)
Good location - just few minutes from the beach. Better to book this hotel, if you have a car. Room size is good. Shopping center and supermarket is literally around the corner.
