How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hotel location so close to Segovia and excellent hiking routes nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our short stay. Our room was spacious and clean. Our breakfast was basic but filling. It was good value for money.

staff on arrival check in was supposed to be at 3pm and we arrived about 3.30pm with the receptionist shrugging her shoulders and bluntly saying room not ready due to conference that was finishing and every body was leaving.. which was poor management as there was only about twenty rooms booked for that night and I could not see why they couldn’t have got that many ready. poor start

Noisy rooms
We stayed here during while traveling back to the south by car, so good location for that. Otherwise not too interesting.

The balconies of the suite could have been furnished to make them more enjoyable in the sun. Lots of noise overnight in the street, but it wasn't the hotel's fault. A kettle and some tea should be provided.
The suite was lovely and spacious (especially the bathroom). Breakfast was very good quality, loved the bread!

In the morning the hot water not quite hot it worm. in the afternoon no problem.
Good value for money. The staff of the hotel are very friendly. the quality of the food is out Standing. definitely a place stay again soon.

We paid to go to a pool nearby as the information on Booking.com said it was closed but when we arrived, the pool was open.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Lots to do nearby.

Dinner was supposed to be available from 2000, however, the restaurant didnt open until we had raised the point with the staff. It was worth waiting for though!
Our stay was amazing value for money. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast. The food was superb - a 5 course set meal for dinner and the buffet breakfast at 7.50 euros was magnificent.

The location is terrible, the rooms dated and no good bars or restaurants nearby.

The breakfast looked very average so decided not to eat there. The rooms were pretty noisy and we could hear the lift and next door neighbours all night.
Spacious rooms although a bit dated. The staff were very friendly.

The heater didn't work, The have to change us 3 times of room. And the friends that were with us have a baby and their heater didn't work as well.

People at reception not providing good service, at checking in, only hand over the keys, no other information about breakfast, WiFi, typical stuff. Hot water was not available, or according to reception it might be needed to leave water running 5 min or so. Additionally very low water pressure, at least on the third floor. Insects on both rooms, hotel is in a natural environment, but nevertheless,

No room service even though it was announced, very little chairs/hammocs in the swimming pool area, no electricity plug next to one side of the bed. Bad noise isolation, we had a football team next to us chatting and playing videogames and we could listen everything.
The bed was superbig and comfy, room is also big as expected.

Rooms are quite small and not cute. I would say too ordinary.
Hotel is nice - lobby, outdoor pool, restaurant. I am sure there is plenty to do around.

What a rip off...honestly in all.my years travelling this was the worst. I picked up the lemon to cut a slice it was moldy and days old. I handed it to hotel staff who didn't care. Same with other fruit. As for rest of breakfast...well we couldn't eat the only hot dish offered due to flys in the scrambled egg. And honestly if you want to eat healthy there forget it...it's bread, pastry or nothing. For 13.90 euro each it's an insane rip off and when we took a few cakes with us for our daughter they asked us to leave them...how petty after the disgusting food hygiene and awful food choices offered.
