There was a lack of air con therefore the room was very hot throughout the day and night, which impacted on your ability to sleep well. Not the apartments issue but the bars are open late and noisy, there is a regular smell of cannabis as well as the large bins outside being emptied at 3am every morning. The photos of the rooms are clearly old therefore there is a need for a refurb of the furniture, kitchen area and bathrooms.

Udalla is in a great location, close to beaches and bars with a variety of different restaurants locally. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay bringing us a fan and kitchen knife when this was requested. Housekeepers maintain a clean and tidy environment. The beds were comfy and not hard, which was a bonus.

Private balcony's glass door was broken, very dangerous, has not been fixed. Flooring was loose- reported it but hasn't been fixed during our stay. No air-conditioning in the room, we have left the windows open but noises from outside woke us up on a daily basis. Kitchen and bathroom needs modernisation, things are just not falling apart. Very basic accommodation overall

Location, the view, the breakfast at Marola Park, The cleanliness , the pool and the pool area. Receptionists was always super helpful and pool maintenaner was doing an excellent job, well done 👏

The apartment is not the one in the picture in fact its nothing like it. There is definitely NO air con especially as it was 32° during the day and 26° at night. Asked reception for a portable fan and an iron gof that straight away.. we had no view or sun apart from the back road. Just be aware that the pictures shown in the ad are not what you get. 5/10

No air conditioning, so I had to keep the doors open. Unfortunately my room overlooked the main road so it was noisy until late'ish at night. Then at sometime around 4am/5am I was woken up when the lorries emptying the roadside waste bins parked up next to the hotel, operating cranes with the hazard warning sounds blaring. Even with the doors open, it was still unbearably hot, but obviously it's my fault I mistakenly booked a hotel without aircon. There were also noisy people coming back along the road at all times between 1am and 6am, but that's also not the hotels fault.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had plenty of space, the beds were comfortable and it had a nice roof terrace accessible by a (very steep and tight) spiral staircase. The hotel itself was quiet with no loud customers (of mixed age groups) and was very close to restaurants and bars.

Rooms need updating, very dated, beds very uncomfortable, pool bar not exactly the cheapest, staff were hot and cold spoke one minute not the next.

The property was in a good location to bars and restaurants, pool was very relaxed and peaceful.

After a good experience last year where the staff couldn't do enough for you , this visit was totally opposite..Had to ask for clean towels on a number of occasions. Had to ask for sheets changing. Reception staff very good, housekeeping poor .

We didn't use the pool area because the volume of the music being played was too loud. To be fair, we didn't complain and supposed other guests were happy with it. We found it very noisy through the night with party groups returning in during the small hours. This meant keeping the windows closed to minimise the noise. This made the apartment very hot and airless.

The Usalla is a budget no frills hotel in a good location for access to the beach and sea front walk. It also gives the option of visiting Las Americas or Los Cristianos. The housekeeping staff were brilliant and kept the apartment spotless.

Everything (basics) you need is there. That's why we keep returning to this place. Good value for money.

The kitchenette is very poor, needs to be replaced. The fridge was not in a good state. The sofa was really low and uncomfortable. The beds were also rather uncomfortable. Bathtubs should be replaced with walk-in showers.

Staff was very pleasant, everyone willing to lend a helping hand. The pool was quiet and comfortable, always plenty of sunbeds. Our room was very well situated with good balcony.
