We just had a hard time to find the apartment due to mostly a lack understanding of the area and language barrier on our part. The host did her upmost to try and give us all the information possible. She was available to help and waited patiently for us to find the location.

You can’t drive Into the old town.

Big house with everything,especially washing machine and dryer machine. Easy to walk to the old town and the riverside. Bed is comfortable .

Nothing to complain about, but maybe at certain times of year, aircon would be nice. (It was a heatwave!)

The apartment was spotless and very welcoming. Beds extremely comfortable. Maria was super helpful from start to finish. She gave us lots of useful information, helped us find our way around and even ordered our taxi to the airport. We loved the little touches like the Athletic Club shirt and photo props.

Can be a little tricky to navigate to the apartment with a car. This is only for the first time - once you’ve got your bearings it’s not as scary.

Excellent location just above the old town. Really easy to walk around ol’ town, into the shopping district and Guggenheim. The apartment is spacious and very clean. Maria is a fantastic host.

Great parking on site. walking distance to main points of interest in Bilbao and easy access to Metro and Tram. the staff is phenomenal. great attention to detail. Super clean and pretty quiet.

Two issues, which cannot be resolved by Bilbao Living were that by decision of the majority of apartment owners the central heating only fully switched on around 9 AM (sunrise) which was a bit late for our liking during our January stay. When it worked, it was very efficient. Also, surely also for safety, the open space outside the block is very brightly illuminated in the night, which means that in one bedroom you have to lower the blinds fully or have a bright streak shining onto the bed. The kitchen equipment was fine, as holiday apartments go, but on other occasions we have had better equipped kitchens (knives, cooking gear, etc.). Asking for a lot, but given how nice the apartment was, a bit more adjustable lighting would have been nice for the evenings.

This very nice, modern and spacious apartment is located literally a few minutes walking distance from the old town of Bilbao. It is on the ground floor of a rather new building, which itself is in a somewhat elevated position compared to the old town. A public elevator, not easily spotted in Google Maps or Apple Maps, connects the street (Prim Kalea) with the open area around the apartment block, which really helped us, having one person with limited mobility. The underground parking (extra cost) is spacious and connected again by elevator. The beds were quite large for Spanish standards and comfortable. Having two bedrooms and bathrooms in addition to a living room and kitchen was very agreeable. There was easily sufficient storage space. A well equipped kitchen with a round table easily sitting four people comfortably allowed us to eat breakfast and sometimes a light dinner at home. Although in Bilbao, you may just want to go for the pintxos and other restaurant options. The washing machine and dryer were not needed for our short stay, but would have been extremely welcome on a longer trip. Maria, our host, could not meet us on arrival, but sent super-detailed instructions and step-by-step videos on where to pick up the keys, how to enter the parking and then how to reach the apartment. In general, Maria provided all sort of information, even sending material in different languages for some of our group. I don't think I have ever had such detailed care from a host in many years of using AirBnB or similar. Basic needs in the kitchen for your first days (coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper) were provided. Shopping options are quite close. Finally, if you haven't ever visited: Bilbao is a great city, not only for that famous museum, but also in general. The sea cost is not far and while we travelled by car, you could rather easily reach the sea by public transport. We will clearly intend to return on occasion.

Nothing to complain about. Some suggestions: - It would be helpful to have a small light in the hallway to make it easier to "navigate" in the apartment at night. - There are strong lights in the living room, so dimmable options or an additional ambient lamp would be helpful.

The new apartment is located in Bilbao old town (a great place for activities and cuisine) very close to the main metro station and tram. The property is clean and large enough for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a well-equipped kitchen (but you'll probably eat in the town a lot). We were very well supported by Maria before we arrived and she responded quickly to any request/question we had. Parking is available under the building and is easily accessible.

Our host Maria was lovely, super helpful and was really quick to answer any queries and to help. The apartment is nice and spacious with plenty of space for 4 people. It's in a great location so we could walk everywhere yet was exceptionally quiet. We had a great stay here.

The location is terrific for the old town, great for activities and an easy walk to most of central Bilbao. The host, Maria, was extremely helpful and accommodating -- she provided lots of information about the city before we arrived, was in close and responsive contact, and was flexible with our arrival needs (getting in early in the A.M. from an overnight flight, with two very sleepy children). The apartment is modern, comfortable, and well-equipped. Highly recommend.
