The hotel is in a perfect position for site seeing Bilbao. Bosco was very helpful thro whatup. It was easy to follow the instructions to enter the building. And room.

Working on the elevator when we were there, so it was a construction zone as we entered. No one’s fault. :) Kind of a rabbit warren to get to your room, but I like to book rooms in historic centers, so that comes with the territory.

The location was perfect! Love the old building with lots of character. The room was decorated with care. The bathroom was all clean and new. Loved the shower.

The comms were good, so it was easy to find, and easy to get into our room. Everything was lovely and clean, with fresh linen/towels as you would expect. There was no breakfast provided, but there were kitchen facilities to make tea/coffee, and a hob/microwave for food if required. There was also a fridge with separate compartments for each room. The rooms are right in the heart of the old town, with amazing shops, cafes and restaurants all around. Transport was excellent, with short walks to the metro and tram lines, which made it easy to get to the Guggenheim (of course), an hour-and-a-half to San Sebastian for amazing beaches and restaurants, and of course to get to/from the airport.

No elevator for your heavy suitcase..yet! We suspect that in a very near future the elevator will be working, as the work is in progress.

A beautiful room in a grand monumental building in the middle of the old city. A great host, a comfy bed a good shower. The little communal kitchen is very convenient as well. Also thank you Bosco for your clear communication in English and the recommondations. It made our stay in Bilbao so lovely!

Location great, on the edge of the old town. Nice touch, with tea and coffee available at any time. Bosco was lovely, sent lots of information prior to arrival.

No issue for us but the Reception area is being renovated and believe a lift is being installed. Hence, no Reception area at the moment but as mentioned the host is just a message away. It will be fantastic once completed.

The location was fantastic but the standout was the host. We were able to communicate using WhatsApp and he was prompt, efficient and friendly, giving us a great deal of comfort. We would definitely stay here again. In regards to the location - once you are outside the apartment to the left and right are the bars, shops and restaurants. Very convenient. The tram line is also close by and easy to use.

We had some problems with the key to get in but it was quickly taken care by Bosco, the manager. He was very friendly and helpful. What we did not like it was noise! Our room faced a narrow busy street and the sound resonates immensely making it impossible to sleep. The glass container at the corner of the street produces unbearable noise and at first we thought that someone has a fight and breaks bottles. Then we realized that shops, business just drop glass containers and care less of the noise it produces. Deep at night they drop glass and it feels like you r in the middle of the glass dumpster! We stayed 4 nights, jet lagged and hoped it will stop. It never did though(. I think it’d better to stay somewhere not so central if quiet nights are important to you.

Location is very central. The building is of the 18th century remodeled nicely.

As expected, I arrived after 2200. Anticipating this, the staff had given provided in advance excellent instructions to navigate entering the hotel and my room. The small ceiling fan is a nice touch: I enjoyed very much the movement of air as well as the "white noise" provided. The room was more quiet than I expected, especially since the window was immediately above a busy pedestrian area. Due to a maintenance issue, the larger room I had originally reserved was not available and I was placed in a smaller room. The staff was apologetic and offered a compensation, which I accepted. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
