Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe only issue we had was with our door, it was difficult to shut and lock sometimes (could've been due to the heat) but aside from that everything was great.
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel, it was kept extremely clean at all times and we especially loved having our bedsheets changed half way through and getting new fresh towels every day. Julia, the cleaner, was so friendly, she worked so hard the whole time to make sure we were having the best time. We were lucky that we went at a quiet time as we had the pool to ourselves and it was nice and peaceful. We loved being able to cook some meals in as there is a shop very nearby. All in all it was the perfect stay, would definitely recommend.

United KingdomAircon was not very good and leaked all over the floor, slippy. Bedding was stained with blood but changed within the hour, staff were horrified as cleaning company should have destroyed this, not their fault.
Loved how quiet it was, rooms were clean with everything you needed to go self catering if needed, fantastic pool. German man on desk was so helpful and friendly. We are looking to go again.

United Kingdom2 things: 1. I was allocated a twin room rather than a double despite messaging the hotel twice up to 2 months in advance of my arrival. I was relocated to a double room after the first night. 2. The pillows in that double room were flat as a pancake (the ones in the twin room were way more comfortable) so I had to ask for replacements / additional pillows. I did receive them within the hour I think…
The rooms are well laid out and each has a sea-facing balcony. There is A/C in the bedroom and 2 huge patio doors in the main living / cooking accommodation.

superb view balcony heated pool ,large umbrellas providing shade, enough seats near the pool quiet area in central location supermarket around the corner cleaning lady and lady at the reception are very friendly immediate reparation of a broken shower short walk down to the beach because the elevator of the hotel nearby can be used

United KingdomWe arrived and were not put in the hotel we had paid for. We spent a night in a different hotel. We had not been emailed about this before arrival. Then they informed us that we had to leave that room by 10am as they had other guests coming in and our room wouldn’t be ready till 3. So we had to repack and wait for 5 hours till we could get into our hotel we had booked. We didn’t get offered a refund for the night and I feel we should have got compensation for the upset it caused as it disrupted 2 days of our holiday and we didn’t get what we had paid for.
It is clean and comfortable in a great location
