Villa Moana is undoubtedly one of the finest places I've ever stayed, even for just a day. Ruben and Oceane have done a remarkable job transforming the property, and their inspiring story adds a special touch to the experience. The breakfast on the terrace, featuring delightful homemade pastries, was simply divine. It felt like a sweet, honeyed start to the day. I will definitely be returning to this incredible haven.

Wonderfully renovated building with original elements, designed in a playful and elegant way. The room was facing the cliff and valley and we could hear birds singing in the morning. Very comfortable bed and the room was super clean. Breakfast was made by Ruben and his wife - carefully prepared and served on the outdoor terrace, we could even enjoy their home-made banana bread! Parking facilities right outside of the hotel. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The most wonderfully B&B experience! Comfortable rooms, cleaned each day, and the MOST delicious and substantial breakfast (all homemade!). Ruben and Ocean (and Pumpkin) were the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful, and so hospitable. Excellent location in Iznajar too. Would highly recommend!!

The most lovely welcoming and helpful hosts. The food was lovely as was the wine on the little terrace overlooking the wonderful countryside. Beautifully restored old building with lovely bedrooms. Fantastic walks around Iznajar recommended by the hosts and their love of nature recommended some further afield too.

The breakfast was exceptional. An explosion of flavours a well balanced mix of sourced local produce and homemade treats. Oceane and Ruben are amazing hosts and will make sure you have the best stay, going over and beyond. They have beautifully refurbished this village house and the place deserve a stop with its charming views, beautiful castle and local church. A true hidden gem.

Everything was perfect

It is really cozy place with great view & design where you can rest of city's fast pace of life. Owners were really nice and told us a lot about this town, we found it really lovely. Also breakfast was delicious with various options.

This is a very good accommodation option in Iznajar. The room and the hotel are very clean. This is a very nice boutique style hotel. The design details are well thought out. We used the larger room for families, which is very comfortable and very nice. The hotel (guesthouse) serves very good breakfasts. At the tables near the window (or on the small terrace) you have a nice view of the towers of the old town. The owner of this guesthouse is very nice and very helpful. He thinks a lot about the needs of his guests and helps. He speaks English very well. Parking your car may not be easy in Iznajar and you may have to walk either three minutes or a few more minutes up the hill to your hotel. It depends on the parking situation. Iznajar is an interesting, small town, very quiet, and in my opinion, Villa Moana is a very good place to stay, located in the very center of the city. Remember: this is a small town and there are not many shops or many bars and restaurants. There is one restaurant near the hotel, which I do not recommend (I do not recommend it!). Better eat in the smaller bars in the old part of town or in the lower part of town. It's OK there. Even off-season and even without nice weather, Iznajar is interesting and you can make trips to other places from here. Villa Moana is very OK. I recommend this place, this guesthouse.

Perfect location in a very walkable town. Very well kept boutique hotel, very comfy bed, great bathroom amenities and super impressive breakfast. On top of everything is hospitality of the owner!! He helped me sorting out the local bus schedule and even went extra miles on helping me book a taxi to Loja when my bus was cancelled due to the nationwide strike that blocked all roads to the main cities. I couldnt thank him enough for this. As a solo traveller with big lugguage, you can call tje owner to pick you up coz the walk uphills from the bus station even for 300 meters is impossible. 10/10

That I couldn't stay longer!

I cannot recommend Villa Moana enough! The room was lovely! Spotlessly clean, light and airy. It also had a stunning terrace with views of the castle and olive groves. Rubén and Oceane are incredible hosts; friendly, knowledgeable and always on hand to help. Great location close to miradors, patios, the castle and local bars/ restaurants. PUMPKIN! Rubén and Oceane's dog is adorable 😍 Amazing breakfast included in the price. I was spoilt for choice with pancakes, omelette, toast, croissants, fresh fruit/ juice, yoghurt, tea and coffee. We loved staying at this hostal. You could notice inmediately that the young couple that ownes the place, put a great deal of passion in the place resulting in a very friendly traetment, excellent facilities and very clean rooms and a great breakfast.
