Beautiful secluded boutique hotel very close to Berneo among hills in the Basque Country . Superb accommodations and restaurant. The manager/owner couldn’t have been nicer. Dinner and breakfast was amazing. Great wine selection.

Newly renovated rooms, many details given attention to, a delicious kitchen for both breakfast AND dinner with a wonderful and reasonable wine selection! Your hosts treat you as family and have a lifetime of knowledge of the area. There are grand plans to enhance the property with Bike storage and even a pool one day, but in this moment it is already luxurious. Perfect sanctuary’s for exploring rural/beach Basque.

Lovely family owned hotel. 3km outside Bermeo, location is peaceful with lovely views. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and customer service outstanding. I definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms and terraces are generously sized. A perfect stay.

I wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful area just outside of Bermeo. It feels tranquil, farms and animals nearby, a view of the ocean and pine forests. the people who run the hotel are absolutely lovely—they make sure you are happy and comfortable and enjoying yourself. It’s impossible not to enjoy yourself here. a wonderful location for exploring basque country or just having a relaxing getaway in the countryside.

Photos of this hotel doesn’t do it justice. It was very beautiful, the rooms were large and spacious and very comfortable. We ate at the hotel for dinner and food was excellent. We had the option of having breakfast in our room which was very comfortable and again food was very tasty. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Our only issue was with the food. there should be more vegan /veggie friendly options especially if requested ahead of arrival. as there is no possibility to eat outside, we were limited with selection.

Beautiful location in a peaceful valley, made for a very relaxing place to spend a few days. There is plenty of opportunity to walk and hike nearby, and it’s not far from Bermeo or Mundaka. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

Maybe just let know your customers that the bath light turns off by itself. We had all the indications to turn on the bath but not to stop it.

We had a wonderfull time at Nafarrola hotel. Everyone was so nice with us. The bedroom was clean, with a beautiful view. Inside the room you will find everything you need and more. We took the diner at the hotel, it was so quiet with a wonderfull view and the atmosphere was really special. The food was really good. But the breakfast was even better : fruits, homade cake, eggs, salmon, cereals.... you will surely find something you like ! The location is perfect if you search a fantastic point of view and a really authentic hotel. We will go back!

Josu was the best hotel manager I have come across. He accommodated absolutely all our requests beyond expectations. The place is secluded yet still close to all attractions in Urdaibai. Rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish.

The facilities are all modern, only thing might that not be everyone’s taste is that the shower / jacuzzi are integrated in the bedroom, only the toilet is in a separated bathroom.

The receptionist was very kind and attentive, he cared for making our stay at the hotel and in the region worthwhile, helping us to plan the cultural sightseeing in the area and booking restaurants. The hotel itself well taken care of with very comfortable rooms, great breakfast and and excellent location in the quiet hills.
