The food in the restaurant wasn’t memorable. it’s a shame as it could be a real jewel with such a location.

It's located on the top of a steep hill so you need a car to get there and to go anywhere. The breakfast was very average and definitely not worth the money.

It's beautiful hotel with amazing views over the whole of Malaga. Our flight arrived late in the evening so this was a convenient stop before travelling onward the following day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and we appreciated the view from the window.

The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay a Villa Guadalupe! The staff was amazing, from greeting us with a warm smile at almost midnight after a delayed flight, to checking us out the night before so we didn't have to worry about it at 4am on the morning of our departure. Every staff member we encountered was kind and friendly, and we enjoyed all our conversations with them. The views from this hotel are incredible! Our room was amazing! My husband and I had a fabulous oversized queen bed on the main floor, and our 15 year old had the loft all to himself with a porthole window and an incredible view overlooking the city and sea! The food was delicious! We had breakfast included in our stay and told them the day before what time we'd be down and which breakfast option we wanted (there are 3 options to choose from). Within 5 minutes of sitting down, our breakfast was being served. We had dinner two of the nights, and it was incredible both nights! The view from the restaurant overlooks the city and sea as well. We had an incredible stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place, with an amazing view and fabulous staff! An actual double bed rather than 2 single beds placed together. However it was still comfortable.

Vanessa, the staff member, was fantastic and so helpful. She even organised a meal for us after hours. We had driven 9 hours so it made our day!

Breakfast was choice of 3 (all looked nice) but only started at 8am - therefore as we had to leave to get our flight earlier we missed out on this on the second day.

Set on a hill, 4 miles from the city centre the view is superb overlooking Malaga. Peaceful. Definitely would need a car to visit here (at the top of steep hill so either would need taxis or own transport (private parking at the hotel easy). Felt safe throughout. Staff were always friendly, polite & helpful. Stayed with my daughter in a family room - which was great. The hotel though would be ideal for romatic get away.

When we did get our room cleaned, they didn't do a full flip like was needed and both times forgot to stock hygienic products. We wish the restaurant had a little more choice, we would have eaten there more often if it did. Breakfast choice was a bit constrained so you could get tired of eating the same food.

The staff were so friendly and nice. They were really amazing. The views are beautiful. The restaurant had delicious food. They have a fantastic deal where you can get €8 per day for using in the restaurant if you don't have your room cleaned that day. The hotel itself is also gorgeous with beautiful mosaics scattered around everywhere. Breakfast was good. We loved the honesty mini bar too as it was very convenient to be able to grab a drink whenever we needed. We were happy the pool was open outside of peak season as it was warm. The overall vibe of the hotel was very relaxed. We loved it.

the swimming pool water was of freezing temperature. it was too cold to swim in it. maybe it was the time of the year but temperature was 23 degrees Celsius. I’d recommend a temperature check for the pool water, could be slightly warmer.

view was exceptional! Staff were polite and respectful. food was amazing, didn’t have breakfast but lunch was great! overall, a lovely atmosphere for couples.

The hotel is very tranquil, situated in a quiet location. We wanted somewhere we could decompress from work and busy schedules. We were able to kick back and relax here. We checked-in late on our arrival but the proprietor made us very welcome and prepared us a plate of food and served an accompanying drink. We stayed only 2 nights but it felt longer because we were able to completely relax.

A great place with a wonderful artistic context. Great, helpful service (especially thank you for the opportunity to prepare a takeaway breakfast when we were leaving for the mountains early in the morning). Delicious breakfasts with a captivating view. A quiet, intimate place, off the beaten track of the city, great as a starting point for trips outside the city.

At some stage the rooms will need upgrading but it was no problem and did not offset the glorious location.

The hotel is in a stunning location overlooking Malaga and its southern coastline. It is a little tricky to get to up a steep climb. The hotel is as much a restaurant as a hotel. It has a large outside patio and a large dining room with floor to ceiling windows highlighting the view. The rooms are adequate, modest sized but with reasonable facilities. Our room also had a large balcony that would have been glorious when the weather is warmer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bit prescriptive but generous and of good quality.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The rooms and the restaurant have a great view of Malaga. The double bed was large and very comfortable. Make sure you try the restaurant, the food is delicious. The staff are lovely. Parking is easy and it is only 17 minutes to the airport. Highly recommended.
