Nothing! This really was one of the nicest holiday stays we've had in an apartment - and we do stay in holiday apartments quite often.

The apartment was very spacious, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped. It was also right opposite the most amazing "Dulceria", which was the obvious place to have breakfast (and buy cakes...). We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here.

Very nicely decorated appartment in the centre of San Mateo by the lovely cobbled street. Kitchen well equipped to cook my meals, supermarkets, bus station and banks near by. The owners very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond expectations of a host. I wanted to use a HTMI cable to be able to connect to my phone to watch English speaking TV and they provide that. For Christmas and New Year they offered my homemade cookies, local cheese and homemade cheese and ham pie. I had a wonderful stay.

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Very comfy, clean and spacious. Nice decor. All rooms had tv. Very smooth check in and out. Perfect location in the centre and in the beautiful Vega de San Mateo. Directly opposite dulceria. We also had some cakes waiting for us to try :-) You can't park in front of the apartment but it is not a problem as there is a lot of free spaces on nearby streets.

The pillows were quite hard but otherwise everything was lovely.

The property was exceptionally clean and the location in San Mateo was perfect.

For a couple who are touring the apartment would be fine for any length of time and, as walkers, we found it fine for 2 nights. However, for a longer stay there wasn't space or facilities for drying wet clothing. A cloth for washing up and wiping surfaces would have been appreciated as would soap in the bathroom.

The very spacious apartment is located in a quiet side street very close to the main street. There are 2 good supermarkets close by and the bus is also close. There is a lot of space and all rooms are nicely furnished and modern. The kitchen has a large fridge freezer, stove top and oven. The bathroom has a very powerful shower, very welcome at the end of a day's walking.

The apartment was newly renovated and well appointed. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is right in the middle of San Mateo, just off the main road. There is an excellent patisserie next door which does attract a large crowd but the bedrooms are sufficiently well removed from the road so quiet enough.

We had a great stay. We received keys right away (we called the owner). She also surprised us with some baked goods from the local bakery. The place was really big and clean. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and more. Bed was very good and we had a great sleep. We parked close to the apartment, on the street. The city is cute and had a great vibe.

Very cold (we stayed in February): there was no central heating, but there were one electric and two gas stoves. The electric stove was barely enough for the smallest bedroom, but couldn't heat up the living area in the slightest. It seemed rather dangerous to us to be using gas stoves, especially since we could smell the gas immediately. A lot of light coming in through the windows at night.

Beautiful interior design, with a lot of attention for detail. Very clean, kitchen and utensils included. Thick bed covers + extra covers. Very quiet, even though close to the center. Nice little extra: there was a complimentary cake.

We just felt a little cold even though we had two heaters, one in lounge and one in main bedroom. But to be fair it was January so wouldnt make this an issue in such a wonderful house. Go here for sure amazing place.

Absolutely beautiful house, all modern and clean. Directly opposite from the famous cake shop in the village. Very well designed and wonderful interior. we loved it and will be back for sure. Host gave us a huge box of fresh cakes from the shop, wich are delicious, Lovely touch

The Apartment is incredible beautiful with very tasteful and elegant interior. The owners are friendly, we even got some traditional sweets as welcome gift. Everything is very clean. It was perfect.

We had a fantastic time in San Mateo and our accommodation had a huge role in this. VV San Mateo is a beautifully restored old house in the heart of the town. The furniture is high quality and very comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with all you may need if you decide you want to cook. You can even bake a cake if you like :) Just bring the ingredients. There are TVs in all three rooms and two gas stoves provide some heat on colder days. Everything is spotlessly clean. We were warmly welcome and we even received a selection of pastry from the very popular cake shop across the street. Thank you for that! What more could I say? Go and see it for yourself, it is highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in the centre of Vega de San Mateo, opposite a wonderful bakery and near the church/main square. The apartment was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated; with a well-equipped kitchen should you wish to prepare meals. It was a great place to base ourselves for hiking around Gran Canaria and was excellent value for money.
