It was a cozy cabin in the middle of a forest next to a lake ..ideal to relax and be off grid. The hosts are very helpful - always available on call if you need something..”
“We stayed here to enjoy birdwatching over breakfast and the place exceeded expectations. The room was cozy and warm in -25 degrees Celsius. When we realized we would be arriving late they were very helpful. We had the most amazing time over breakfast watching many red squirrels right outside the window and all the taiga bird species we hoped to see on the feeders. So glad we stopped here on the way from Finland to the Varanger peninsula.”

Emma s reindeers farm is also located in the facility. You can pet, feed and take a tour with reindeers. Also emma can tell lots of details about Sami lifesyle and tradition. Husky tour was amazing.
On the other hand, If you rent a car you can drive to nordkapp for 3 hours. Or santa clausvillage in roveniemi drive for 3 hours from the giellajohka.
We catched up the Aurora borealis almost allnight during our stay. Just you need in here is clear sky to see northern lights.
