“The entire location is very clean and well maintained.
The cabins are beautifully designed with great attention to detail.
In the huts you will find everything you need for self-catering.
The facility provides also a dedicated observation deck, from where you can see the northern lights (if available) and have a view of the Utsjoki area.
The host is very friendly and helpful and also offers homemade and handcrafted products for sale in a small store.
We stayed there beginning of April and in Winter, you can borrow snowshoes, skis and sledges free of charge.
Hikes can be started directly from the cabine or appr. 10-20km away at one of the two national parks nearby.
We can really recommend Lomatärpi and will definitely will stay there once again”
