How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Only thing that was missing was sauna facilities. the parking for the hotel was not easy to find sice there were no sign for parking so we had to call to the hotel.
Lovely to see that the room was in a good shape and modern. He view was stunning and everything was well kept.

It was cold in my room. I needed second blanket but after shower, with wet hair it was really cold.

I suggest to improve a bit the choices of products for breakfast and to start earlier the breakfast service
Possibility of grab-and-go breakfast, very useful when leaving early.

For a work-geared hotel, it was not easy to work in the rooms: there was a work desk but only an armchair to sit on. The work stations in the lobby are in the corridor and a bit noisy, I had to go elsewhere to work. The breakfast area was completely full each morning and we had to stand around with plates full of food and wait for free tables.
This hotel is ideal for events in Tampere Talo since it has an internal corridor to connect them. The room and beds were very clean and comfortable, staff is very kind. The breakfast is excellent and well stocked.

The room was fully equipped, even a small espresso machine. Very spacious, clean, and nice view! It is located within a short walking distance of the central railway station.

Breakfast is only so-so. The space is surprisingly small for such a big hotel, and the selection is ok but nothing more.
Very new hotel with stylish and modern rooms. Comfortable bed and a nice fresh bathroom. Also lobby and hallways are all new and fresh.

Breakfast could have more options that are gluten free, like the porridge and some of the sweet cakes available could be gluten free by default. I have had more gf options in a hostel than in this buffet. The overall quality of the buffet otherwise was very good and food was fresh!
Hotel is very modern, rooms are spacious and clean, beds and bedding good quality. Nice bathrooms.

Modern design and it was easy to find everything. Small details made the stay feel more luxurious and the staff was the friendliest I've seen in probably any hotel in Tampere!

The room and that it had coffee, tea as additional. Breakfast was also very good and at least three different combinations you could have- from standard scrambled egg and salad to more sweet options such as granola or oats.

The gym cannot really considered to be a gym. It's just a small room with 2-3 fitness racks and a treadmill. Also it is really weird, that you have to go through the restaurant to go to the gym. Parking is also quite expensive, but at least taken care of by the hotel.

Could be bit warmer or have second duvet in case of feeling cold. Chair or something to put boots on next to the door would be nice if don't want to walk around the room with snowy boots.
Room was spacious and clean, same bathroom. Nice desk area and armchair. Coffee and tee making options. Breakfast had great options, also fresh fruits and drinks. Dinner was superb, that risotto was stunning. Staff is superb.

Paying for parking was not so good, if you’re staying at the hotel you should have it included in the price for your room
Location was in the center of the city in walking distance of every location I would like to explore.

In one week stay, breakfast selection start to be boring.
