Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandGood location very close to shipyard only 12 minutes driving. The hotel is also right in the center of naantali
I really like the staff they are very responsive and helpful even when I booked the place quite late at night. The place is very comfortable and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to stay two more nights after my trip to other town

PolandWhereas Finland, in general, and Naantali, in particular, are super quiet, the room would surely benefit from better insulation from what's happening next door (so earplugs might come in handy).
This was arguably one of the best stays ever - and I've been travelling for work for the past 13 years. Not only did I receive a superb vegan breakfast, but the staff provided me with another the evening before I had to depart very early in the morning the next day. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the central market and close to everything else in Naantali. The town itself is more than easy to fall in love with. I have already recommended the hotel and its cosiness to my colleague to take his family there for vacation. One more thing: the description on booking might be a bit misleading - that 16 m2 should be doubled as the offer includes an upper floor in addition to the ground one (so two twin beds and a couch).

AustriaAll in all the property could use a little care in some details. Since it is all wood, functioning fire sensors are a must (ours was visibly missing). I am sure that the property will comply.
Bridget Inn is a nice old house a stone's throw from historical Naantali main drag. The location is ideal, with public parking directly at the door. Breakfast is spectacular, with flocks of locals coming in just for it.

United StatesThe bed was on perhaps a little too soft. A curtain on the window in the door to screen the early-rising summer sun would have been welcome.
The location was excellent. The room was quiet. The air conditioning -- much needed on the warmest days of the summer thus far -- was effective.

FinlandThe hotel is in a big, very nice, well kept, old wooden house. Our room was very cozy and the bathroom very spacious. Also the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. For parking, there were a lot of free space on the street, mostly with no charge from Friday evening 'til Monday morning. The nearest bus stop was less than 10 minutes walk where buses were going to Turku until the night. The old town was very nice.

FinlandWe had no remote for the Tv and the AC(which was on). We informed the reception but noone was able to help or locate the remote controls. We stayed for one night but they didn’t get back to us that evening or the next morning. Luckily we found on YouTube how to turn iff the AC so we don’t sleep with the loud noise. Other than that, a nice place to stay in Naantali.
Clean and beautiful old building renovated.

FinlandYou could hear neighbours a bit too much - kids running around in one apartment, someone snoring in another. I like to avoid dairy, I wish there was selection of non-dairy yoghurts. Porridge was without milk, which is a plus.
Great breakfast. Tasty selection of sandwiches, fruit and porridge, and more. Friendly staff, genuinely polite. Cozy interiors, stylish too. Comfortable, although bed could have been a bit more supportive - at least it was not too hard.
