The location was very good nearby the central bus station of Turku. There was also a possibility to charge your EV next to the building.

The location is brilliant for travellers: close to the railway station, right next to the bus station. The rooms are functional. Several places to eat around and still quite close to downtown.

There were two Hesehotelli in the area, and we ended up going to the wrong one at first. Be sure to go to the correct one. The HesBurger was still closed in the morning, so it was a bit uncomfortable to return the key back in the morning.

Perfect for a one night stay. Not so spacious, but good enough, with comfortable beds.

Grout in the shower had some mildew, though it didn’t really bother us. I only mention this for those whom this is a deal breaker for their stay.

location was 5 minutes from city center and river walk. 13 minute walk to train station. It had very comfortable beds, stayed for one night with a family of four and it met our needs wonderfully.

Not very close to city center (minimum 15' walking to market square, but close to central bus station in case you are traveling by bus) Since it is affiliated to a fast food restaurant operating below, I would expect them to offer a meal or a special discount, but no such offer (the restaurant charged us extra for using their toilet after checking out - very absurd)

It was very convenient for us to get a bus to Naantali and back. The room was great, although the ladder to the top bunk was a bit short. It was fun checking in at a burger counter.

It would be good to mention on Booking.com that the reception is inside the burger restaurant at the counter. There is no separate sign or booth for the hotel costumers so at first it was hard to find, but the staff was very friendly. Bunk bed was a bit too high up and scary to sleep in even tho it felt safe, but there is no side on the bed. Ladder to the top bunk felt a bit wobbly because it's so narrow. There's a blinking fire detector right on top, next to the top bunk. So if that's something that might bother you, you might want to take a sleeping mask with you. Hooks for the towels were a bit awkward to use and situated in the bathroom.

AC was great, especially on a hot summer day. It was 29°C outside and yet you could be chilly inside. Fridge was a nice bonus thing to have, hair dryer as well. Room was quite quiet despite being next to a busy street and bus station. Room was quite clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again. Checking out was easy, you just put "clean my room" sign on the door and leave your key card in the box by the exit. No need to talk to anyone.

Had to check in at the Hesburger counter. Service is longer because the restaurant takes precedence to the hotel. The a/c was not working. Manager found a fan for us. We would not have been able to handle the heat without the fan.

It was a functional place to stay for one night. Good bathroom and beds. Sushi Hot restaurant located in the same building was great. Loved checking into the hotel at the Burger joint counter. Truly a unique experience.

The so called twin room does not come with a twin bed but bunk beds. Hotel screams early 90s and room wasn't too clean with a lot of old dust on various objects.

It would be great if the rooms were equipped in a kettle; however, there's a fast-food restaurant downstairs, McDonald and a petrol station just around the corner, so generally having something warm to drink is not impossible, even at night. Also, some parts of the room were quite dusty (but, of course, not dirty).

Perfect location, affordable price, easy check-in, kind hotel staff. The room was really cosy and warm, the bathroom was clean and the bed was, as for me, very comfortable. If I ever visit Turku again, I'll definitely choose Hesehotelli, highly recommended!
