Nice clean room, affordable, easy parking, nice jogging trails

If you're staying for more than a week, I'm not quite sure whether your room will be cleaned. I stayed for 7 days and I saw a layer of dust on the desk after a couple of days. I would've liked more clarity about this, but it's not really a deal breaker to be honest. My room, including the bathroom, were very clean. Besides that, I thought the toilet seat was a bit weird looking (brown-ish, as if someone tried to burn it). The room felt warm, but not too warm. You can't open any windows and they look like they are well-isolated. I think the room might get uncomfortably warm when it's 30 C° outside.

Awesome location in nature with nice walking routes in the forest. The city is pretty close, about 10-15 min of biking. However, it doesn't feel like you're directly next to the city with all the silence around (Finland is very spacious). The staff was very helpful at the check-in, I was lucky that I could join the dinner when I arrived (take note however, Linnasmäki only has dinner when it has been ordered for a group). If I needed something, I could always ask the person at the reception area. The sauna and pool were pretty nice and clean, nice extras to have. All around VERY good value for what I've paid (about €30 per night + €8 for breakfast per day). A little note for those wanting to go to Turku at the end of May- begin June, my experience was that the hostel was pretty quiet. Not a lot of people around, if you get lucky you might speak a local (in my case a Swedish speaking Finn). Most activities such as festivals, group activities and the like seemed to start from the first or second week of June (Summer starts like half way June-begin July). If you're not really into talking with people, you could pretty much avoid a lot of chit-chat. When you get in your room, you're on your own and away from everything else. If you're extroverted (talking from a Dutch point of view), brace yourself for solitude. You really have to be able to entertain yourself on your own. It might be different during Summer, when people from Sweden and other countries get here to celebrate their holidays.

- I arrived around 19:00, none of the workers were there. For all the time of observation, I did not meet a single employee of the hotel. I was warned by phone, everything is fine. But there were strange feelings, as if I were in a movie :) In a hotel where there is no one - The nearest grocery store is quite far from the hotel. - The bed linens were not made.

The hotel is relatively close to the airport, so I chose it. What I liked: a separate common room where you can prepare meals, heat up food, drink tea/coffee. This room has: microwave, stove, fridge, kettle, dishes. You have to use your own products. The room has a very comfortable bed, TV and shower. It is very quiet. Automatic check-in and check-out. Breakfast is not included in the price, you can pay extra if you want.

bad ventilation - I had to open the bedroom door and a fake window w moskito net to get the air circulating. the fake window didn’t have a hook so I had to stop it w a lamp to avoid the room from getting super cold! faaar away from Turku - 1 km to bus stop , no shops nearby. buses go very seldom on weekends . the feeling of the place is like a school or prison - clinically clean but void of a homely feel.it’s better for conferences and people in large groups but for one night it’s far away!

Breakfast option is not at all good, it should include more warm food items like Omlets, Fried eggs, Sausages, etc.

The bed wasn't very comfortable as the springs didn't give much support. No black-out curtains so room wasn't very dark.

Very good value for money. Quiet location, ideal for those travelling by car. The room was clean and had towels, soap and a hairdryer (unusual for hostels). Perfect place for a stop-over and one night stay.

Nice and peaceful hostel quite near the city, about 2 kilometres away. Good bus connections. Clean and quiet rooms, common kitchen and also a good loundry room. Large parking place, for free.

If you are paying for a private room it would be nice if they actually made the beds for you, instead you have to actually put the sheets on it etc.
