There was an option to choose two separate beds or one bed for a couple. It ended up being two beds next to each other without being attached to each other.

This is basically a motel on the motorway and not in the best location if you do not have a car. I got a room on the ground floor facing the yard, which was obviously a bit noisy, but the staff apologized for that and explained that they were fully booked (I knew that, as we were all there for a festival). With ear plugs, I could still sleep ok. The breakfast buffet was quite basic and meat-oriented. There were vegan products on the first day, but once they ran out, they were never replaced, which was a pity.

I stayed here to attend a festival nearby and it served its purpose. The room was clean and large enough and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

my room was close to the entrance of the hotel and a bit noisy when opening the window. Also cigarette smoke came into my room with the window open. Yes, I could have closed the window, but I like it to be open in the summer.

The hotel could do with an upgrade, for example the bathroom was not in top condition anymore. Very small rooms, but then again, for 1 night it was ok. In a remote area with nothing much to do in the neighbourhood in the evenings. Apparently 1 restaurant nearby but I am not sure if it was open only during the day or also in the evening.

Very nice and helpful staff. Quiet rooms even if the hotel is located next to a motorway. Big free parking. Easy access from the motorway. Good breakfast. The hotel has a small lobby bar where you can buy a small selection of drinks to take to the room too. A very good choice when you are travelling by car and only want a place to sleep for 1 night.

I would have preferred staying in walking distance to the Kotka center, but there were not many choices. We visited Kotka by car, but when we returned, there were no parking places left in the parking lot. Luckily it was also possible to park near the hotel, but it felt a bit less safe.

We only stayed for one night. We did not have breakfast. Room was simple, quiet, clean. Everything was okay, but probably would not choose this hotel for a longer stay. To visit city center we used our car.

Our room was on the bottom floor right next to a terrace. At summer, there was some noise in the evening. We couldn't keep the window or curtains open because our view was right to the terrace where people were drinking/smoking. We would ask for a different room next time.

Very kind and friendly staff! Breakfast was good. There were options for allergics too. ❤️ The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The location is excellent if you come to Kotka by car. Nearby, there is also a very beautiful urban city park, if you want to take a short walk from the hotel.

Even though no A/C, the downstairs room remained cool. Single room size ok, props for a large fridge and ChromeCast. Decent breakfast, with gluten-free options. Bikes available and cheap public transport too.

Finland was surprisignly very expensive. Drinks and snacks at the hotel were also double their usual price. You should drive to the center of Kotka, as it is 7 km.

Modest but nice hotel for travellers. Despite its location near the highway, very quite. Easy to find. Good and big parking lot. No need to pay in advance to confirm your reservation. Small buffet breakfast but enough. Good coffee. Clean room, helpful and friendly staff. Nice surroundings for a morning walk. Thank you!

Sauna had quite limited open hours.

A functional roadside accommodation, excellent location for the music festivals and events at the Ski Stadium, some 15 mins away by festival bus from Dark River. Simple, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and nice staff. I would have hoped for the sauna to be open in the morning, and later in the evening too, so that we could have used it.
