There is no aircon and the room was really warm at night. There was a reading lamp only for one person. The lightning in the breakfast hall was poor.

The staff was excellent, good customer service attitude. The property was beautiful and unique in Finland.

This hotel is like a time travel. You will have the feeling that you are in an Agathe Christie - Poiret novel. It's really an exceptional Hotel among the others. :) If you have the chance to try their Roasted Salmon, then get one. It's also fantastic. :)

Hotel was in an excellent part of Tampere. Whilst not in the centre it was in very easy walking distance of all attractions within the city (especially Nokia Arena) and set in a nice location near to the Tammerkoski Accommodation was comfortable and breakfast was excellent with good choice.

Only one small thing: 300 Euro for a room should include an Espresso for breakfast, as the coffee machine is not able to produce one, had to pay extra.

Very comfortable old style hotel. Room was quite large. The staff is extraordinary, special thanks to the nice Lady at the reception for her tour through the hotel! Great location near center.

Doors were not soundproof, but there was not too much traffic in the hallway.

Good location and very beautiful building, good food at the bistro. The bathroom was very pretty as well as the common areas. Nice and responsive staff. Room for one was just the right size.

Sauna department needs renovation, didnt meet the expectations that rest of the hotel gave. Shower corner's sealing in our room didnt look very clean nor healthy.

Only one detail: Key card stopped working for the staircase doors one hour too early before checkout. This complicated my luggage and dog moving when leaving.

The room is very small. When I open my luggage, I can hardly step on the floor.

The location is good, near the museum centre and a lot of restaurants. The staffs are very friendly.

Breakfast on Sunday morning rather chaotic due to the fact that it was a brunch open to non-residents. Residents should certainly have priority, and not have to wait to get a table.

Breakfast was slightly disappointing, did not match the grandeur of the place. I found some hairs on the bathroom wall and sticky spots at the bottom of the sink. The rooms' decore created somewhat of a heavy ambiance: the furniture, floors and the walls all appeared rather dark in spectrum and there was not enough light in the room. The double room was ok, but I also peeped into a single room and it looked depressing. I understand that there is some historic connection and maybe the idea was to preserve the original features, but this colour combination really takes something away from otherwise excellent experience.

This is a place full of history, character and charm. The lobby and the dining hall are exquisitely beautiful. Location couldn't be better. Soundproof windows. They care about your comfort. I was slightly chilly at night and an electric heater was provided promptly. Staff superbly competent and friendly, nothing was a problem. I felt really welcome. Dinner at the Bistro on site was the best I've had in a long time, just blew me away. I'd happily stay here again.

Car parking was a bit off.

One of the best breakfasts ever! Lots to choose from, even local specialities. Non coffeinated coffee availabe and all the local newspapers. Trying to fill this to be done.
