Double bed was two singles pushed together, which was not ideal for us. Pool was cold, I knew that from other reviews though so was expected it. Would be great if heated.

The main reception foyer, restaurant and pool area are really tired and feel very dated. There are lots of comments about the pool being cold, which actually didn’t bother us at all. Aesthetically the pool area could do with modernising, for example lots of rust on the radiators and a rather strange bar area with fireplace which had clearly not been used in decided felt like a bit of a waste space. I didn’t like the lack of a mixed sauna for families as we had to use separately ones in the male/female changing areas and would have been nice to share the experience together.

The hotel is in an excellent location with stunning views of the river from the restaurant. We stayed in a family room in the refurbished building and it was really spacious, clean and comfortable with a luxurious bathroom and amazing rainfall shower.

The tunnel walk to our room in newly renovated section, no one mentioned we could skip the tunnel if we used the lift in the Lapland tours building! We discovered this by accident. Also constant aircon heating, I could not figure out how to turn it off despite removing keycard from the door and adjusting the air con settings!

Was a bit worried after reading bad reviews but as we had a family room our room was in the newly renovated section overlooking the river- just stunning! Worth it for the view itself. The kids loved the bunks that pull out from the wall and the breakfast choice was amazing, I wanted to try everything!

It's a very basic hotel for the price. Rovenemi in general is an expensive place to visit.

Very central Location and having bus station to Airport and Santa Claus Village at door of Hotel was superb. Good breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean room and comfort bed. Overall price is exaggerated for the standard of this hotel. MAybe it was the festive season and that's why those prices were applied.

The swimming pool was a bit cold.

The breakfast buffet was full of variety. The dinner was delicious but quite expensive. The children's playroom is a great idea. My twins loved it.

We couldn’t control the temperature in the room. The wall thermostat didn’t work and it went up to 23.7C one night. We wanted it around 19-20. It took an hour for someone to come and help us, then two hours for the room to cool down.

The room was great, modern and clean. The kids loved the sledges.

there was no information when I checked in. no instructions on how to get to breakfast, or use of the amenities. there was no real ‘welcome, here’s how to get to your rooms, breakfast is served in xyz and zyx time’ ect. it wasn’t very personal, just ‘here’s your key, bye’. housekeeping could do with a step up, and change the mugs and glasses when they have been used and not keep the dirty one there and not have them replaced. There was no room to put luggage so it had to pretty much stay packed the whole time cause the only pace for it in my room was the bottom rack in the wardrobe - there was no floor space at all! I was a solo traveller with three single beds, surely they could of put the roll away bed away for my stay, and allow space for my luggage. no idea where three peoples luggage are meant to go should the room actually of had three people on it. luggage storage was free for all.. as in, it is not monitored. staff just press a buzzer too open the door and you put your bag in, anyone can then take whatever bag when collecting. there’s no system and it is not secured. I’m not a fancy traveller at all. I usually backpack, luxury is not my kind of travel. but these things seemed pretty basic standards I would say, not met.

the location is great and they had me in a river view room which was amazing. the buses out front to airport and Santa village are handy, and everything in town is accessible. I’ve stayed in Rovaniemi 6 times now and this was the first in this hotel. it was a bit confusing having to go underground through a tunnel to get to the other building, and instructions on how to access my room from that second building would of been handy to know at check in!

It was advertised as having a fitness centre but there wasn't one. When asking, we were informed it was at a neighbouring hotel and there was an additional charge. This would have been helpful to know when booking as I wouldn't have taken gym gear (far too cold to walk to another hotel in gym attire)!

Breakfast was lovely. Slightly limited on table spaces for all patrons. This was a great location for everything we wanted to do. We were in the newer part of the hotel which was really lovely.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from main streets. There is a good burger and pizza place just 3 mins walk away. There were loads of sleds available at the hotel for the kids to use which was great. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and although it was busy, everything was kept replenished. We were in a modern room with bunk beds for the kids. The room was warm and comfortable, and plenty of space for 4 of us. There was a kettle with tea/coffee and a minibar.
