The housekeeping was not great. They never changed the cups and glasses in the room. It seemed they just made the bed and didn't really sweep around. This was uncomfortable during our stay. Definitely they need to upgrade their housekeeping service.

The location of the hotel is superb. Restaurants are just 2-5 min walk, the bus station that takes you santa claus village is infront of the hotel, which is very convenient. If you need to purchase something there is a mall as well across the property.

The windows were on restaurant courtyard. We was missing a kettel in the room. The price for the tea and coffee self served should be lower and not as a price in the restaurant.

Staff at breakfast were not helpful at all, most didn’t understand English Only had one cheap toaster and it didn’t work on the second day. No replacement. One toaster to share for all the guests and one toaster for vegans which we were not allowed to used when toaster broke. Some food ran out and no replacement if we didn’t arrive early for breakfast No English breakfast teabags had to ask reception, who also ran out

We had a great stay at the Scandic City Rovaniemi Hotel. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and warm. The bathroom is little but more than adequate. The toiletries supplied were very nice. The staff were friendly, helping out with any issue and always there if you had a question. The location is perfect for all the activities we had planned. We were able to get taxis and pick ups without any problem. Most tours picked up directly from the hotel. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance of this hotel and a place across the street to rent warm weather clothing. The breakfast had lots of options (including options for vegans) and it was nice that the hours were extended on the weekend. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Like many other hotels trying to get quick profit, under staffed for main season and you need to wait even for plate and cutlery during breakfast. One guy is cleaning tables a bit disorganized.

The room is relatively small, especially you travel with a big luggage. Also, shower room is a bit tight. Except this, everything looks okay for me.

Location of the hotel is in the downtown of Rovaniemi. Lots of restaurants are around the hotel, so food is not a problem during stay. Also, there is a supermarket just across the road. It is a building with large LEDs on the wall, go inside and down by an elevator, you can buy snacks, fruit, drinks, and sledge there.

Only one pillow per bed, usually sleep with two. WiFi was super slow (less than 1mb download) so could not stream any movies on Netflix. Surprised at needing to pay €10 per day to park at hotel.
