The rooms are very dry and there is no way of accessing fresh air. In the end, we kept the room cooler so that it felt fresh but we woke up each morning so dehydrated. There were lots of roudy lads over Friday and Saturday night who took over the lounge/bar area. Additionally there are no in room tea or coffee making facilities. You have to buy them in the reception which seems a bit unfair for a 4 star hotel and parking too isn’t free.

The location is great. It’s in easy reach of the town, restaurants etc. The staff were very helpful especially on our last day when they extended our check by 8 hours for only €40 and helped me with the car rental company.

The hotel restaurant closed on Sunday is totally absurd. No moisturising lotion in the bathroom, is a big lack for a 4 stars hotel.

Property is good. Great location, friendly staff. Very clean and I enjoy the small gym and the sauna. Breakfast is really good.

- the fridge in the room was hardly keeping anything cold inside it, so we couldn't keep any perishables. - the curtains are blackout, but there is a gap between the ceiling and side walls, so at night the room is not really dark, which is not ideal during polar days when it doesn't get dark outside. - bed mattresses are not very comfortable as they are not at all firm, so if you have back issues, you might not find the bed comfortable.

+Fabulous staff: Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. +Great breakfast: Breakfast buffet is pretty much the same every day, but there are good choices for both adults and kids: eggs, yogurts, cheeses, cold and hot meats, vegetarian options, tea/coffee, juices and freshly baked goodies. +Quiet and cosy: Hotel was quiet, so our young child's sleep was not disturbed during the day or night. We visited Rovaniemi in June, and the city was very quiet with no crowds anywhere. Not sure if this is the summer thing or Covid change. Either way, absence of crowds was very enjoyable! +Perfect location: The hotel is walking distance from great restaurants, cafes, shopping mall including groceries, major museums, the river and Rovaniemi's most famous bridge. Overall, a great location!

- No toothbrush and toothpaste in the room (need money to buy?!). - No slippers in the room. - The air-conditioner didn't work properly. Ventilation is poor. - The showering area is too too small, and water can easily go out from the shower area. :( - Lift is not that security enough, Can go to different floor even without the card of the certain floor. - Pillows are so small.

The rooms were not cleaned properly during the 3 day duration of our stay. The toilets were not cleaned at all, and the drinking glasses were not changed. Coffee was very poor at the breakfast buffet, yet outside of the buffet you could but a proper coffer for €3~3.50 a cup. Beds were very uncomfortable and there was no laundry facilities available from the rooms.

There was a mix up in our reservation (done 2 months in advance) and we were "upgraded" in the first night to a room with a built in sauna but we were forced to checkout and check in again on the 2nd day leaving all our belongings in the cloak room for a full day. Despite having booked a king room we ended up in a twin room and not with the extra bed for our 6 year old son. After 2 trips to the reception they placed a crib for an infant and only after a 3rd move to the reception we had the extra bed placed in the room. After that all went pretty much normal but considering a daily fee of almost € 300 we expected a little more. We've decided not to complaint formally as we were only going to stay for 3 days and we wanted to enjoy the vacation. Breakfast is chaotic with tables almost always dirty and some stuff such as sugar missing most of the time. All in all we believe the hotel could be quite nice but it seemed they just didn't know how to handle the load of the high season in Rovaniemi. It's not too expensive considering the season and the town but once again for a €300 daily fee more is expected in a UE country.
