A member of cleaning staff who did not knock on the door. It was probably an innocent mistake, and was nicely handled by the hotel afterwards with fruits and chocolate... My undressed wife was a traumataizing shock enough for the poor cleaning lady :) I hope she did not get too much hassle from the management. Which brings us to the fact that there is coffee, two different teas and hot chocolate in room, but no honey, which unfortunately is very common since most people drink coffee in Finland, and nothing but. When I only consume tea and truly hate that I practically have to carry my own honey with me, since I am also tired of calling to reception/room service for just that. I know, i know, there is usually plenty of other sweeteners. Also the only pen in the room was very well hidden, although I finally managed to find it from the closet - in a box - which was hidden under laundry bags. So, room/hotel needs just a bit adjustment with the minor details here and there, and then the ratings should skyrocket...

I loved the white salmon pizza, which I had downstairs. Amazing. You don't have to be a guest to enjoy it though. Otherwise room was spacious, nicely thought lights and how you control them. A quite eye pleasing color palette used all around the room. The bathroom could also been built a little bit bigger, but was ok. Chromecast actually works in this hotel, not true everywhere that claims so. Location is excellent for those who love to be in the very center of a city, which is extremely busy at day, and party at night. Hence I asked room that had view to the inner yard. Don't know how well the windows are insulated against noise on the other side, but I did not hear a thing. There is so many new hotels in Helsinki, and this one has a quite decent price/experience ratio, but nothing that differs much from similar price category hotels, other than the pizza. I might come back to stay, just because of that.

The breakfast is fantastic. Although I have taken 13 hours flight from Hong Kong and arrive Helsinki on the first day, the beds are very comfortable which allows me sleep very well while my body has just started to “get familiar” with the new place

The only little thing was I arrived very late at night. I let myself into the room and I could not find the lights, once I found them it took a while to work to work out how to use them. Also the air conditioning had no instructions and I couldn't work out how to use it.

A huge room and the beds were very comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and got a room that is on the inside of the hotel so no road noise at all. The breakfast was so extensive, juices, smoothies, fruit, yogurts, cereals, porridge, different jams, seeds and nuts, breads, cheeses, salad, sweet bites and cooked items, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages, vegetables, pancakes with toppings available. I believe they also had Gluten free items. Tea, coffee etc and takeaway cups if you want one on the go. Nothing was too much trouble, just ask and they will try to accommodate your request.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful with everything I needed, the location was ideal and the breakfast was one of the nicest I have had anywhere. I will happily be back whenever I am in Helsinki!

The price of drink in the bar was high and selection limited so we decided not to bother with a night cap.

The room was a very high standard. The staff were super helpful providing fresh milk for tea when asked. The breakfast was the best I have come across.

I would like to have had a shower bath and slippers.

The hotel is close to everything, transportation, shops and restaurants. Breakfast is really good, a lot of options, the natural smoothies are great. The lady at the reception was super nice both checking in and checking out. The room was good, spacious, the coffee area/kettle even had a hot chocolate, one of the first hotels I stayed that had that.

Breakfast was always fantastic, and the hotel is very well located. There are a lot of restaurants, bars, and cafes within walking distance. The main train station of the city which connects to the airport is also close by. Overall good choice

the cleaners didn’t really clean properly, I’ve still found some dirt in the bathroom after she cleaned it. Brekfast could be more “stimulating”

hotel has been recently renovated, basic room was cozy, comfy, I was on the 4th floor and it was very quiet, only AC fan was a tiny bit noisy. Nice vibe all around. Breakfast is ok, you can find better places nearby the hotel. Gym was really good. Position exceptional.
