The muffled chattering of guests next door was audible through the dividing wall as I was trying to get off to sleep, but not otherwise intrusive.

My second visit to this lovely place. Elvisa was a superb hostess and Annukka a superb chef. Don't miss the breakfast omelettes. I look forward to my next visit.

The bathroom is a bit small. I like sleeping with an open window and the room did not make this easy, so I ended up opening up the small window in the WC. In the spring it is a bit muddy right in front of the hotel building. A paved road from the room to the restaurant would be nice :)

Lovely dog-friendly location on a farm, on a lake, right next to the highway on the way from Helsinki to Kuopio, great stop over point for longer trips up north. Our room was nicely decorated, had a balcony, there were treats for our dog. The breakfast was served beautifully in a beautifully decorated space with a glass terrace. Onsite parking. Space for a short on the property stroll. Our bathroom had heated floor and a new quality shower head.

Overall stay was really good. Arrived during dark and lighting made whole area good looking. It was very cold outside (-25c) and room were just a bit cold for my taste but there were provided additional heater in the room that customer could plug in and use and that fixed problem quickly. All the staff were polite and happy so it was good stay at here! Would think that at summer time this is even better!

Nothing. Only that de reception was open this sunday at 6pm. And that we could not have a dinner this day. But, it's probably normal that the sunday, the reception was closed earlier. And that the kitchen don't work on sunday evening.

Terttin Kartano was a very good hotel. We stayed there with pleasure. The breakfast, with fish, was rhe best we had.

The bathroom was tiny so the toilet gets to shower together with you. Wasn’t much of an issue for us but just note if that matters to you.

The location is great with the property situated right next to a beautiful lake with gardens surrounding it from all over. The breakfast is rich and delicious!

Breakfast at Tertti, at least until now, is the best Breakfast I had in all my life. So exquisite, fresh, and rich. Salmon, different sort of breads, butter, scrambled eggs (special made), different sorts of fish, different sorts of cheese, and much more, the majority of this treats, elaborated by them, at the Kartano (country house in Finnish). Special mention for Tertti's special Porridge which is from another world, so yummy, just for that, its is worth to pay a visit to this establishment. Staff is very kind, helpful, they make you feel as you would be at home, from the receptionists, the waitresses, the gardener, to the owner, who has been so helpful, giving us extra information about our interests on Finland, and always being concerned about our wellbeing. It is located not far away from Mikkeli, a reasonable size city, and at a stone throw of huge forests and lakes.

The wifi connection cold have been more stable

The Manor grounds were very well taken care of and it was a real pleasure to walk around there. The breakfast was very tasty with a good variety of handmade foodstuff. The way the service was presented was exceptional and the staff had great attitude towards service.

Lovely little hotel in the beautiful old manor house. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room itself is quite simple, but has all comforts needed and a beautiful view from the balcony. Food in Tertti is always delicious. Take some time to go for the little walk in the surroundings!

That I had to leave after just 1 night to catch my ferry.

Delightful place. Peaceful and beautiful. Room spotless and very nicely appointed. Breakfast superb, and included in the room rate. Don't miss the omelettes cooked to order. Pleased to find such quality at such a keen price. Shout out to Elvisa for her courtesy, cordiality and professionalism. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Comfy and cozy farm house vibe, warm rooms and great selection of food. We love the authenticity of it from the exterior design to the food that they served. Homemade products are the best. Above all, the hardworking staffs need to be appreciated always for all the efforts that they’ve given to make the whole experince unique. Great job guys!

Everything was wonderful. The bathroom was a little tight but fine overall.

The location was absolutely breathtaking. The flower/vegetable garden, secret garden and surrounding lakes were just lovely. The breakfast and dinners were delicious. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The staff was so very nice and quite helpful. Got a chance to speak with the owner. Seems like a lovely man. Wonderful stay! Didn't want to leave!

The dinner menu was quite limited, with two mains and two puddings. It was the same on our second night. We would not have wanted to eat there again unless it changed. Quite pricey though you got a lot for the money. Otherwise all good.

Beautiful traditional house, still owned by the same family after 200 years with multiple rooms furnished with antiques. We had a comfortable bedroom in an outhouse, with delightful balcony overlooking the grounds. The dining room's shady balcony overlooked a wonderful garden. The grounds are large and varied with gardens, lake, walled garden, herb garden etc. Good dining experience, four course set dinner using the estate's own produce and good wine list. The closest we found to fine dining in our Finland trip. Breakfast included their own alcohol free sparkling wine and more home made items using estate produce. Well located as a stopover between Helsinki and Savonlinna, opera festival and the eastern lakes. Close to Mannerheim's war time control centre museum and the lovely Mikkeli Parsonage house and craft shops.

Our room (N 1) looked poor to the pictures of the relevant rooms on Booking.com, a bit disappointed by this. Air condition didn't work properly.

Bathroom was very small and there was little room between the shower and toilet. The rest was fine.

It was nice to feel special. Breakfast was beautifully presented with white cloth tablecloths, fine china and lots of fresh flowers. Staff were very helpful and dressed in period costume.

Traffic on the main road is loud although about a km down the valley

Awesome country views. Private sauna was really good touch after a long day driving. The restaurant offered a delicious set menu with in season asparagus and rhubarb as the main theme dishes. The Chef personally introduced each course and had a wonderful sense of humor.
