What a beautiful place! Staff were amazing, location was idyllic and the room was wonderful. The restaurant had incredible specials on the menu every day and the amazing sunsets added to the dinner experience. The staff happily and efficiently organised drivers and whatever we wanted to do while staying on Taveuni. A very close walk to the village that had a couple of supermarkets and the beautiful old Catholic church is also just down the road. A very special place!

Aroha is the perfect place to stay in Taveuni. We came on the ferry from Vanua Levu and it is right next to the ferry pier. The property is very well maintained and really beautiful. The location is perfect and I would recommend hiring a 4WD vehicle. (Organised by the host). The host Losalini was very accommodating. She went above and beyond. She also chooses exceptional produce for the chef. The restaurant has the best food on the island for sure with their signature Wood Fired pizza. The rooms are fabulous, air conditioned with outdoor showers. The island has the Rainbow Reef which is a must for scuba divers and snorkelIers (I can highly recommend Taveuni Ocean Sports). The Bouma falls is worth a visit (we went to the 2nd fall which was far enough- one has to cross the river so ensure you have shoes u dont mind getting wet). There are so many villages one passes by on the way to the falls. Its also quite cool to visit the 180 degree Meridian.

Right on the ocean, beautifully maintained property, comfortable king size bed, small resort so felt very personal, great staff, great owners great snorkelling right off our beach, good restaurant right on the premise.

We were made to feel very welcome throughout. The setting is perfect, rooms overlooking the sea, convenient location for the date line and waterslide, and they arrange transport to other activities. The restaurant/bar sells delicious food, and it was very good value. Thank you!

Would have liked the pool to be open late as it closes at 6pm but I still managed to enjoy it on the second day.

Taveuni and Aroha in particular have been the highlight of our trip to Fiji. We totally recommend this boutique hotel and definitely plan to come back soon.

Beautiful hospitality from staff that kept our rooms clean everday with a set of clean towels! Our family bure was amazing! We had two interconnected rooms, our room with a super king bed with outdoor shower. The kids had their own room and bathroom, with 3 single beds. Indoor and outdoor fridges were a 👌. Continental breakfast was just right. Had to pay for a hot cooked breakfast meals though. We were a 5-10min drive down from the main town - Somosomo village. The pool was a bonus to relax in after a busy and hot day. Thank-U for the perfect stay. Aroha Taveuni comes highly recommended!

The beach is great for wandering or views, but it is not soft and sandy, and although local kids swim, you would probably be do better booking a snorkeling tour.

This is a small intimate property with a great, locally adored restaurant attached. The bungalows are beautifully designed. The property is more for self-starters, with the ability to attend mass at the Island's historic church or shop in local markets just outside the entrance...it is not an isolated all-inclusive resort. It is nicely integrated into Island life. The wonderful staff will arrange anything you might want to do in or around the Island. The excellent restaurant with stunning views across the Somosomo Straight is a highlight.

Beautiful comfortable bures- polished wood floors, openair pebbled floor shower. Spotless clean, lovely flowers here and there to welcome you. Laundry done for small price. Friendliest staff, very obliging welcoming hosts Denis and Ngaire run a lovely place. Small inhouse restaurant provides scrumptious meals

Stunning location, gardens and great designed rooms. Loved the views and outdoor shower, comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and efficient- great to see Dennis and Ngaire’s support with training and opportunities. Restaurant was so good to have on site for lunch and dinner - especially enjoyed the focaccias and fish (fresh snapper caught a few hours earlier!) Room and views are even better than the photos!

Beautiful location, spacious room with a very large bed. Appreciated a large fridge and microwave. The pool was great. Area very quiet. Handy location for going diving. And we arranged a waterfall trip - well organised with a great packed lunch.
