Cant recommend this place enough - it was SUCH an incredible holiday for my young family. Accom was brilliant, Food was good, staff incredible, kids club and pools really good, location on the beach brilliant!!

Pillows, water pressure and there was no free water in the rooms

Breakfast was very good with healthy and international options. Beds were very comfortable. Water pressure pretty weak but to be expected on an island. Pillows were too soft but we piled them up. Staff are the best thing about the resort.

The buffet was variable from very good to "ok" . Constant signing for absolutely everything was a bother - must be a better way!!

The alcohol options were limited. Wine and Beer selections were not of the best quality and many beers that were listed were out of stock. I won't be too harsh on this, recognising the global supply chain issues. The kids club is fantastic for younger kids and our girls aged 9 and 12 would have been the oldest participating. Looking around at older kids (teenagers) staying at the resort it didn't look like there were many activities for them. For that reason, we may rethink going to Castaway island, as much as we love it now.

We compared our recent visit to our first visit 5 years ago (July 2017) and were very happy on the whole. The food was of a very high standard compared to other resorts but we did notice it wasn't as good as it was in 2017. The staff were very helpful, engaging and happy, but talking to some of the staff that worked there the last time we came we appreciate there have been many changes, and also understand that many staff left the resort in 2020 which would have changed the dynamic when new staff came on board. To the credit of management, it was a wonderful night meeting other guests for drinks put on by the resort with an introduction into the Management team and a history of the resort/island.

The kids swimming pool was very cold.

We loved a lot of things at the property. All of the staff go above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. The rooms/ bures are lovely, beds are comfortable and with a family of 5 we were close but really enjoyed it! Food was good, water play was great, beaches were beautiful. Kids loved the kids club too.

Getting there was expensive and difficult to understand having never been to Fiji before. I feel for the price transfers should be included or at least explained better. there was something confusing going on with the dinner restaurant, whenever we got their all the nice seats where booked (but not being used), but whenever i asked if I could book i was told, they don't do bookings. was very rude. There is no wifi or phone reception in the room. despite the listing mentioning wifi available, it is only in the restaurant and unreliable. This turned out to be a blessing but probably should have been mentioned. it also makes it difficult to arrange things on the island you can't just call reception, and they can't just call you.

The Island is stunning, and staff are perfect and go above and beyond to make everyone happy. We loved our stay here and now over a month later we still miss the place and wish we could have stayed longer. snorkelling was fun, good food. exactly what we needed.
