We had read reviews about the facilities being a bit tired and while we agree that there is room for improvement, we were very comfortable, and it did not impact our stay. Some easy wins for the resort would be replacing the sports equipment eg tennis racquets and table tennis paddles, pool cue tips, repairing signage etc.

Amazing location and staff, we loved our stay, it's a good size island and we had plenty to keep us occupied for a week and did not want to leave. Walking, reef snorkelling right off the beach and plenty of space to have time away from other guests, but also a good variety of activities with something to suit everyone. Plenty of good food from the buffet and we loved that our package included breakfast and dinner. The staff are special and made us so very welcome.

Room floors weren’t clean when we checked in. Resort is nice but urgently needs maintenance, it is rundown.

The price listed on booking.com when i made the booking did not match the price booking.com gave me after the booking was confirmed. which i complained about and got no response. also the hotel tried to charge us more than this price again which was just getting ridiculous. But thankfully I cleared this final extra charge up with reception

The fantastic views, the buffet food, the pools and the beach. The entire place was fantastic and my partner and I had a very satisfying visit.

Some of the resort is in need of modernisation and repairs. Some of the published photos of the resort do not match what is actually there. For example all of the pool bar and cabana seating have no cushions with the exception of the sun loungers. There is no air conditioning in any of the restaurant areas which is challenging in 30plus temperatures. Only 2 of the 5 restaurants were operational during our visit. We used direct transport to get to the island and were not met at the jetty which we thought was unusual.

The aircon in the room was awesome. The food was unexpectedly good. Snorkling was great off both sides of the island. Spa treatments were excellent. The cultural Fire Dancing was very very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Communication before we go there was one of the biggest disappointments. When I booked the resort and asked a couple of questions and send a couple of emails. However, they did not respond all of them. Just received fro one of the questions after 5 weeks. It was really disappointing. The room and furniture are a bit old. Also the water pressure is low during the day. However, I understand the fact that the water recoursed are limited in a remote island.

The location is great. beautiful reef and marine life around the island. You can enjoy the entire day doing snorkeling around the island. The resort has lots of activities and they make sure you are not bored at all. Staff are super friendly and helpfull. In my opinion, the staff are the best part of the resort. We really enjoyed our time there.

More options for food - they used have a restaurant for lunch and dinner on the south side but is now only open on certain days for a-la-carte meals, which is very expensive but well worth it if you are a foodie or just want a nice romantic meal. Definitely more umbrellas and deck chairs would be ideal - have to get up early for those.

The location is what brings us as a family back to Mana year after year. Yes, there are better resorts but it's where it is that overrides a five-star resort on the mainland. The pool is great, the beaches fantastic, and our room was the 2-storey beachfront unit so has heaps of room for four adults. The food can be hit and miss but is slowly improving. This is a beach getaway location in Fiji so it may not be quite what you would expect but all round it is a great family resort.

It was very tired and old. The decks were in bad repair all around the pool areas with boards coming loose and nails and screws sticking out. There was not enough deck chairs anywhere including on the beaches and not a single hammock to be seen anywhere. The wifi was not free even in the main areas of the resort. The flys in the eating lounge were terrible - they need fly zappers. Staff here seemed annoyed and were not as friendly or welcoming as other islands.

The little hut was super cute and we loved the outdoor shower. Also loved the adult only pool and view from there and snorkelling and kayaking on the beach.

Very beautiful island, amazing nature. Exceptionally kind staff who made us feel like home, especially Mela who was always so friendly and kind, checking if we have everything what we need. Thank you so much!!! On top we got a free room upgrade to a cottage with our own pool, beautifully decorated with flowers as it was our honeymoon stay.

WiFi connection was poor, which was unfortunate when you had to pay for it, and only 1 device could be connected to the code provided

Portions sizes for meals were very generous, and a lot of included activities. The entertainment/events were fun to partake in, and the snorkel and kayak hire was greatly appreciated. The reef just off the beach was incredible. Also used the dive shop connected to the resort and it is a must for divers
