Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere are 2 pools. One adult pool, which this area is quiet. Our room was on the other side of this pool which we had no noise at all. Except, one early afternoon wanted to take a nap and the recreation house across the lawn facing our room started playing loud music. On 2 nights as well they had parties going on until 10pm, which is good but if you want to sleep early for an early Tour next day, not good. Thankfully, the A/C did drown out most of the noise. If you don’t mind noise, then book a room infront or near the family pool. Keep in mind there are constant people & kids, morning to night, swimming, walking around, no quiet or privacy on your patios facing the pool. But, worst part of this entire experience is the Tour company inside the hotel. We booked 2 tours. Tour #1: It’s a boat tour that says you pass by the Mamanuca Islands. You go nowhere near them and the island you go to is basic. Nothing special. The lunch was very good though! Extra, charge to get to Denarau and it’s 2.5 hrs long drive to get to the port and 3 hours to get back to the Warwick Hotel. It’s a public bus so he is dropping/picking up locals AND tourists. If we had known this, we wouldn’t have booked it. Almost, 5 hrs on a bus, no thanks. But it gets worse. Tour is for 7:00am. The instructions for this tour are to be at front hotel entrance 10 minutes before 7:00 am. We were there 6:50am and bus was gone. As a matter of fact, they didn’t even have our names on the list for this tour we booked a few days prior. He either left early or never even came. On several occasions we caught people lying to us about how things work. There was another tour bus that took us to where our tour bus was. When we finally arrived at the port, they didn’t have our names either. Tour #2: Sigatoka River cruise & Salad bowl valley tour & School: We paid $200 USD and during the tour they asked for more money! They pass around donation bowl at school and at Village! And the lunch was awful.
BREAKFAST: Mostly good. Overall , it was average, not amazing. For example, there were days the banana bread was seemed fresh and other days not fresh, just dry. I would ask for easy eggs and she would over cook them, maybe it was a language barrier? Not sure. DINNER: Average. Only ate at the restaurant with buffet and the seafood restaurant. Buffet was a hit and miss as well. Some things were good, some ok. The Middle Eastern/Asian buffet was not good at all. And it was all Asian only. Seafood restaurant was gorgeous with great Sunset views and the food was good. Food was average at best, drinks were not good at all. ROOM: It was quite spacious, which was amazing, but not enough furniture, like drawers to put your clothes in. There’s were 2 small closets, one closet had 1 hanger, the other closet did t even have a rod to put hangers on. So that was a waste of space and very inconvenient as we had to live out of our suitcases. Another piece of furniture needed in room is a bigger table and or, side table to set things on. BATHROOM: Was nice and spacious. But tile floors not cleaned well the grout in between tiles is yellowish. Obviously not well cleaned, like dried up pee and so why the tile was yellow tinted. They also need to install a second towel hanger above the existing one as typically there will always be more than one person in a room. Hook behind door will not dry towel properly. On our last day here, we chatted with a couple that had just arrived into a very dirty room and decided to check out and book at another hotel.

AustraliaThe rooms smell very damp and nowhere to hang wet swimmers. The kids club age limit I get there has to be an age but my toilet trained independent girl who was 18 days of turning 3 could only go to kids club with a nanny for $45 an hour. Buffett for dinner is overpriced and not nice food.
Loved the pool area, Italian restaurant and Japanese restaurant were amazing! Kids loved the Buffett dinner and the movie playing was a huge hit. Kids club was amazing and our kids made some really good friends. Also loved the gym facilities. We had a ground floor pool view room (even though we booked an ocean view room) it worked out perfectly, our youngest had her day nap while we could watch our other two swim.

AustraliaThe food was not great. Very bland and the buffet did not have labels on some of the food so you didn't know what was available. The labels also need to have allergen advice. All the bread had milk in it so wasn't able to have toast due to lactose intolerance. All the desserts had dairy so a suggestion would be to have jelly. Need to have icecream or cream with the pancakes. This would make children happy as well. Staff very slow to take orders and very slow to bring orders. We had all inclusive food and beverage yet at checkout we had been charged for some food and alcohol. Apparently all inclusive drinks package is not available during happy hour so we had to pay for the 4 drinks we had.
Staff very friendly. The ocean really nice. Wicked Walu was a very enjoyable experience. Great games area under cover.

New Zealand* Dinner options are really hit and miss and not great value. Pasta from the Italian Restaurant was great but the pizzas are comically bad (using cook-from-frozen bases it appears). Japanese restaurant had some dishes but others were tiny and we had a salmon dish served which was bordering on raw (even for people who enjoy a rare salmon steak). * WiFi took 5-10 attempts to log into each day which was frustrating (usually with an error message) * House cleaning is hit and miss. Sometimes we got a bathmat. Sometimes we got 4 towels for 4 people but usually only 2. * Bar service from the Rooftop bar was glacially slow (eg, 20min for a 2-drink order).
* Buffet breakfast was a treat * Love the reef just off the beach for snorkelling * Good range of activities and party/quiet areas as desired * Pretty good value when compared to Denarau. Loved the kayaks that are freely available. * Staff are lovely and genuine

New ZealandThe facilities are dated. Our room had a few things that were ‘just’ functioning’ or you needed to figure out how to adjust i.e. bathroom door and basin faucet. But we easily dismissed this, as we were swept away by the staff and their hospitality.
The staff at Warwick are amazing! Make the effort to know your name and greet you. My daughter always felt special when the staff would come up to her and ask how her day is. We felt the warmth and wonderful hospitality of the team. A perfect place for families. A kids buffet with a movie while your eat? how appealing for the little ones. Spent most of day swimming at the pool & water activities. Vinaka!

AustraliaI stayed here 5 years ago. Food was way better in buffet, but now Shanghai la exceeds buffet. Kids and family events together didn’t really happen. Like disco for kids and adults. Entertainment when adults had a few drinks. Very policy driven. We arrived late and we had to pay stay straight away like we were tired hungry kids. Where ere we going to go we were literally on an island. Kids drinks and ice cream were expensive. I had to pay extra for baby milk. Pay for towels. Happy hr was good but so,e bars didn’t include cocktails. The owner or manager smoked at the outdoor pub while doing his business the only smoker maybe he was a manager. We stayed for Christmas 5 years ago and it was way better. But I’m now afraid other hotels same price bracket is better.
Beautiful surroundings, beautiful staff, kind friendly. The staff were exceptional.

FijiI think that the swimming pool is too small for the size of the resort, the family pool needs to be bigger or build a second family pool it gets so busy and there is no space in the chairs around it. Also the buffet breakfast could do with a review and some more options added and the buffet dinner is not worth the money spent. There is no variety and options linked to the theme. The other restaurants are amazing
Love the location, friendliness of the staff they are all so kind and helpful, great family resort with everything you need, great restaurant l, fun free kids club and beautiful snorkeling!

AustraliaThe service was often slow with many misunderstood food orders and the food was nothing special for what you pay. The cocktail bar menu at the swim up pool was average and the constant crackling speaker killed the buzz. The WiFi was constantly dropping and slow. These little things could easily be improved to make the place more luxury and enjoyable. Some healthier food options would also be great!
The resort had everything we needed; pools, gym, kids club, beach with snorkeling and was in a lovely tropical setting. A nice place to relax and unwind with many optional activities on offer daily. Comfortable room, with dark blinds and comfy bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, however, more attention to detail wouldn't go astray!

FijiMy recent experience was marred by a frustrating mix-up regarding room allocation. Despite booking a double room category in advance, I was checked into an inferior room upon arrival. Upon expressing my concern to the staff, I was met with indifference and was informed that the room I had booked was subject to availability although it was no where mentioned during booking. While I understand that such occurrences can happen, the lack of proactive communication and the inability to provide an adequate solution were disappointing. The staff's dismissive attitude only exacerbated the situation, leaving me feeling undervalued as a guest. After some debate I was eventually moved to a double room that i had initially booked. Food was disappointing as well. Portion size was small for the price. Buffet breakfast did not have a great selection. Resort needs urgent maintenance. As it was rainy during our visit, the property was leaking at various places, making it unsafe for guest.
Generally friendly staff. While there were many activities available, it was rainy on our visit and we couldn't try them.

FijiI wasn't impressed with the buffet food at dinner. Not worth the price. Our room was located closely above the kitchen area and staff were extremely noisy very early in the morning, inconsiderately laughing and conversing and this disturbed us from 5am on a Sunday morning! We couldn't call reception to complain as the power was out and phone lines disconnected due to the heavy downpour overnight.
Staff were always friendly towards us locals. The dining area was flooded due to the heavy downpour overnight so it was great that the hotel arranged buses to take guests to their sister resort, 10 minutes away to have breakfast. This was a good opportunity for the guests to see the Naviti resort and the kids enjoyed the bus rides to and from the Naviti resort. Good beach and pool for the family.
