“The breakfast was very good, lovely fruit and preserves. On the second day we were able to sit outside in the sunshine. The location was very rural with good views. Unfortunately, the nearby town of Bauge lacked a good restaurant for an evening meal.”
“We enjoyed having a whole house at our disposal. The bedroom heating made it cosy even in November, and there are lovely views from it. The ensuite is fine. The bath is hip-bath size, but it has a shower head attached. The sitting room downstairs is lined with books and there is a large dining area with big windows by the kitchen, and a cupboard filled with cutlery and crockery.
We appreciated finding the house open when we arrived instead of having to rendezvous with the owner ( whom we saw the next day)”
