  “What a find! A beautiful, period house in the heart of Brive-la-Gaillarde converted into a comfortable little hotel with a great terrace for people watching and consuming ice-cream! But the main reason for going there is Juliette, receptionist, barmaid, fount of knowledge and facilitator. We all voted Juliette a Gold Star for her professionalism, enthusiasm and determination to make our stay just as enjoyable as she could. The hotel is so typical of France, slightly frayed but trying hard to meet expectations. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the water hot and plentiful but super smart, spacious and trendy they were not. It filled the bill perfectly as we were just passing through.”
