    “The location is excellent - very close to Jonzac; the property is spotlessly clean and the bedroom comfortable. Breakfast with croissants, fresh bread and lovely jams was great too. It was disappointing that the hosts were not at home when we arrived so we had to go away and come back again - But they were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The very low ceiling in the toilet wasn’t easy for my partner, and we were surprised that it was on the landing rather than en-suite. I hadn’t realised that I wouldn’t be able to pay by card so had to go to get cash before leaving.”

    “We liked the charm of an old French property with character on the outside but with modern facilities inside. It was close to the town centre for shopping, restaurants etc but in a quiet street. It was warm, quite comfortable, and clean. In a yard with neighbours, and where some properties are in the process of renovation, you can enjoy a peaceful break, and sunbathe on the very private terrace. Shared parking.”
