“We had car problems getting there but our hosts were wonderful and took care of us at a late hour. They were always helpful and offered good advice. The bed was comfortable and the facilities suited our needs perfectly. What a wonderful place to stay, especially if the weather is kind.”
“We have stayed at the hotel before, but it is great to see how the offer has improved. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really excellent, varied and plentiful. Mont-Dore as a town may have seen better days but we love the historic spa town vibe, and there are encouraging signs of regeneration. There was a Jazz Festival on when we stayed with free concerts - a real bonus. Good choice of restaurants in town.”
