“It was a 4 star hotel edging on 5 stars 🌟, but the long lecture from the gentlemen at reception who kept telling us the money the hotel looses through booking.com was very ordinary when we arrived making me feel inadequate. Also the fear that he may keel over when showing us the rooms wasn't ideal. Further, there was no sign nor barrier of any sorts to demark the hotel property from the neighbouring farmer's property. We accidentally trespassed onto their farm when our dog went over and were almost physically assaulted and were verbally abused by them (it was like a horror movie). I have never experienced such abuse, so urge others to beware. There seems to be no intention by the hotel management to address this issue and I do hope given what we experienced no one ends up being physically harmed. The food was spectacular at the Bistrot and the room although small, perfectly appointed with a beautiful view.”
