“The host Michel was very welcoming and speaks excellent English. The gite is very pretty and comfortable with lots of kitchen utensils, crockery and equipment. The downstairs toilet and shower was extremely useful when you have mobility issues or coming back from the pool area for a quick shower. The pool area is a sun trap and the views are beautiful. The location is also very peaceful with a handful of neighbouring properties. There are lots of lovely towns/villages to explore nearby too as well as the coast. The host has a dog called Laya who is very sweet natured and likes to say hello each day.”
“The host Michel was fabulous. He is fluent in English and made us very welcome in his lovely home. The pool is lovely, the hot tub is great and the roof terrace is fantastic. The house is well equipped with everything you need provided to cook your own meals etc. Even things like dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. Michel gave us a jar of fresh made fig and raspberry jam which we used on croissants and toast as recommended. It was delicious! He also told us to help ourselves to some fresh figs from the tree so we ate some with some Mimolette cheese from a local supermarket. This house is very rural and the surrounding area is very peaceful. The night sky here is amazing as there is light pollution at all so you can see millions of stars.”
