“Pierre and Patrick were very friendly and helpful. Despite us arriving late, we were greeted with coffee. We enjoyed breakfast especially the homemade jam, and their company - felt more like visiting friends than paying guests. The bed was very comfortable, the room had an ensuite, although there was no tea and coffee in the room, Pierre and Patrick made us coffee in the lounge. They also helped us by booking dinner in a local restaurant. We were able to explore the abbey which was beautifully appointed and the grounds surrounding it - their lounge was full of beautiful, antique furniture, and art work. The stay was very comfortable and relaxed, and a much nicer experience than staying in a big hotel chain.
We will definitely come back and stay in the future, and would recommend it to everyone.”
