Sadly the property is very tired. Desperately needs a refurbishment. Bathroom was not clean. Bedroom had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Similar to previous comments.

See above. Also, the shower was inadequate - it was just a shower curtain around a shower basin (and shower fitting) in one corner of the small bedroom. I didn’t dare to use it!

The breakfast which cost 9 euros was overpriced. There wasn’t an evening meal (or lunch)available for 14 euros as advertised.

The hotel is good value and in a good location, but it could do with a bit of a refresh.

No car park, no breakfast offered, 3 flights of steep stairs to my room, little head room in room, toilets and showerss in corridor. I was unable to use te shower as it is in a bath which had sides too high for me to get in to becaue of a bit of arrthritis. The "courtyard was unusable and reembled a builders yard. I had asked for some medecin to be put in a fidge but when leaving around 09h00 the next day there was no staff memeber to return them to me. I had to knock on doors and shout for 30 mins before finally knocking on a window which gave on to the courtyard and waking someone who finally turned up 5 mins later. I wouldn't stay there again.

The only thing I liked was its proximity to the town.

We were on the very top floor so not great if you have mobility issues also the shared bath was very high so again a bit tricky for mobility problems. The bed was quite hard and we only had a singular long bolster pillow between the two of us which was very uncomfortable. 2x pillows would be better or bring your own! The garden photos are also misleading as it doesn't look like that anymore due to building work.

Location was great with a lovely walk through the park to Nevers centre. The coach and train station were also only a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (it does help if you can speak French but they also speak English).

The shower was just warm, not hot so I couldn’t take a shower. The manager just let himself in the room without knocking. The heating is on only sometimes, it’s freezing in the room.

The Room was very basic. However the en suite was clean and modern. I may have been the only guest as there were renovations going on at the time of my visit and it was still winter.

Bed was comfortable. Room was warm.

sheets not properly cleaned, per general,cleaning is an issue at the place. they refuse to give an invoice or any kind of proof from their side about my reservation, which i needed for my company. this is a hotel which i strongly reccomend NOT to stay in

There is absolutely nothing I can write positive about hotel beausejour, I am not usually over critical about this kind of thing but I think it’s fair to say that hotel beausejour seriously tarnishes the excellent reputation held by Booking.com. When I booked the accommodation I specifically asked in my message 22/4/22 that there be garage parking for 6 motorcycles, the hotel reply 2/5/22 said “ok”. This was a complete lie as there was no garage parking and the only place we could park 6 very expensive motorcycles was on the pavement near the hotel. The laundry in the room was abysmal I have thrown away better towels, the bathroom was dirty and you had to kneel down to take a shower in the bath. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 night as we were so appalled by the accommodation. We returned to the Ibis hotel in Montargis ( please read my review ) . I feel so strongly about this situation that the only fair conclusion for us would be a complete refund. Looking forward to you reply. Kind regards M Halford

I am just disappointed of how the reception the guest its like there is no one at the reception every time I come there to ask for something you waiting 10mins. Dissapointed to say this but its more a hostel then a hotel!
