Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was amazing. They explained everything and made check in and check out a breeze. The rooms were great. I loved the bathrooms and the beds. I also loved the fact I could open the window. The breakfast was good. I wish they had a better variety of fruits though.

PolandRoom very small, cramped. Parking in the back room, after driving through a very tight gate, also tight. You can get stuck with a larger car. The breakfast is not very varied and it quickly discourages during a stay of a few days. The bars adjacent to the hotel are staffed by local observers who will silently follow your every step, which is uncomfortable. I did not feel safe there.
Standard typical for BW. The room was cleaned and tidy every day. The location of the hotel close to the center vis-a-vis the train station.

GermanyI booked a 16qm room but was given 12qm room on arrival. I was quite surprised since I booked a bigger room and paid more money. When I checked in I was given a small room. The staff said since you are single we give you a single room which was small. I was taken back. However I complained and then the staff provided me a bigger room. Somehow it seems my booking of a bigger room was not visible in the hotel? Is it taken care by Booking.com to pass on the booked room information to the Hotel? Why this information did not pass on to the Best Western Hotel? In the bath the hot water regulator was not working properly. Sometimes the water came so hot suddenly that it can burn the Guest.
