Small rooms, too few toilets / showers per floor.

Great location in Perth CBD, nice kitchen and common area and backyard with a lot of outside seating.

the light turned off automatically when i was having a shower and couldn’t be turned on by yelling. so i had a shower in dark.

the kitchen was so dirty, really disgusting. in general a lot of thinks didn‘t work in that hostel, every second sink or whatever was out of order. we wanted to do our laundry, they have two. one of them was full of water so we used the other. then we wanted to use the dryer. one was out of order, the second dryer was full of water. we had to carry all our clothes to a laundry nearby to dry our clothes…

the location is great, just in the city centre. we had a private room. the room was good, clean and comfortable. the toilets and showers were very clean👍🏼

The Hostel is in the city, the location is very good.

The dorm rooms were pretty small considering there were two bunk beds and not much room to walk around and not much room for luggage.

It was close to where i needed to go early the next morning to start my bus tour.

Cleanliness of the men’s shower Some bogies stucked on the ceiling just above the upper bunk bed. A chips on the floor in the staircase during all our stay which means the stairs at least are not cleaned up. Regarding the beds, mattress cover, fitted sheets and blankets provided, but no bed sheets.

The bathroom floor was flooded as the showers are poorly designed and the water just runs out from them.

The location is incredible, a few steps from the CBD and really close to one of my favorites restaurants :) The room was ok, comfy bed and it was surprisingly quiet even though when our windows was facing the street.

The walls were a little thin so we could hear the traffic outside.

The beds were very comfortable. Heating were provided in the rooms. Showers were clean too.

Like other backpackers, it's kind of not easy to get used to using its kitchen & fridges(But still much better than other backpackers)

Location is the best and its bunk is a lot strong than other backpackers so I didn't get stressed from the bed squeaking unlike other backpackers.

The smell when I entered the second floor for the first time, but later I didn‘t notice it anymore. The kitchen was not so nice, but it was ok.

The location was great. The Kangaroo Inn is on the high street of Perth and therefore very close to a supermarket, restaurants, shops, a metro station and the train station and the harbour where the ferries to Rottnest were leaving from. The price for my single room was also good for being in Perth. Loved the aircon and the tv. The women‘s bathroom was always clean. I always got a good night‘s sleep.

Mainly the only thing we did not like was the bed sheets that were given. These were fleece blankets which had stains on and did not cover yourself nor the bed. Overall, great and cheap place to stay, just needs to update the bed sheets.
