The area is apparently not safe to travel alone at night but we felt quite safe.

Comfortable room even though very small. Some of the staff were very welcoming friendly and went out of the way to help me find nearby pharmacy and arrange a taxi when we had a little medical emergency. There was a little supermarket right in front of the hotel and few restaurants right next to it. And you can see the basilica from your balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

Humming noise from strange private cupboard in our room. The fact that you could not open the wardrobe while the bathroom door which had the mirror was open. Dated

Only thing I found annoying was there was no cold water in the room, both the tap in the bathroom sink and bath/ shower only had warm water. I'm sure housekeeping would be aware of this.

Clean room, although a little small, probably the smallest in 3 week trip. Breakfast ok. Location good, walking distance to harbour. Good wi-fi.

Good location close to the old port, Mucem, cathedral but still quiet. Lots of eateries nearby and a supermarket in the same street. Short walk to tram, bus and train

I stayed here one night in July - I arrived in the evening and found the hotel easily - it was about 15 mins walk from the main station in Marseille. Check-in was easy and the guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. I booked a single room and although the room was small, it was very well arranged/furnished and the bed was comfortable, shower and toilet was small but very well furnished. Wifi worked well and the near the hotel are bars and restaurants, etc., so it was easy to find a bite to eat, etc.

They should have written a note about how long room service can take. I didn't know, so l waited almost an hour, very hungry and late at night. The coffee isn't good and the breakfast buffet is just average. There's a bakery around the corner and a café across from the bakery, a slightly better option. Not the best location for a quick and tasty breakfast near the hotel.

Great staff, clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious enough for my needs. I was on the last floor. The roof slants a bit, but only over the bed, so not a problem. Tip: the 5th floor rooms are a bit bigger than the other, 8m2 ones. Air conditioning much appreciated. The manager is very pleasant and professional, eager to please. I definitely recommend this hotel. It's close to the station, costs €11.20 by Uber. Or roughly 20-25 min walk.

The breakfast is average. It's not really worth 14,50€. The coffee isn't strong enough and the pancakes are cold and have no taste. For the first time ever, l ordered room service in the evening, at 9:45pm. It wasn't indicated how long it would take and l waited nearly an hour, which was unpleasant. A big improvement is just to put up a sign saying that the wait time can go up to 50 minutes, that way l would have ordered much earlier. Being in Marseilles, it would have been a special plus to have a nicer soap in the bathroom and shower as well as conditioner (there is just a face and body gel) However, the negatives are small things. This is a very good hotel l would recommend.

Wonderful staff, helpful and friendly, room on 5th floor under eaves big enough for my needs (apparently bigger than the rooms on the other floors), quiet, as requested. A Franprix across the street, within easy walking distance from Panier area and Mucem and Cosquer museum. They have an elevator and air conditioning. This last point was amazing during my first two days when it was so hot. Later, l turned it off as l am not used to having AC. The manager is very professional and eager to please. It's not far from the SNCF train station (€11.20 Uber ride or quick metro connection).

Room was small but bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. Cathedral nearby and then Cosquer Mediterranee and the Mucem and Fort. It was also close to the Old Port and eating places. Liked the choice of coffee etc in the room.

Location. It was convenient but the street was gross down the block. It was ok once you rounded the corner.

The bathroom was huge, clean, and useful. The bed was comfy and breakfast delish. The staff were very helpful.

We have an early train so we'll miss breakfast. I wish they had options for people who need to leave before 8 am.

14 euros was a bit much for this type of breakfast and the breakfast room was crappy and underground. The parking was atrocious

A bit pricy.

Nice location near a lot of city landscapes: Mucem, Vieux Port, Catedrale la Major, etc. The staff was verry helpfull and went the extra mile to give a lot of usefull info Near the train station ( two metro stops away ) Nice wellcome cold can of water. In the evening the entrance doir is blocked and you can acess the hotel qith the room keycard

Road construction on weekdays started about 7-7:30 and restaurant on the corner was playing loud music very late on Monday night.

Room was nice and staff was friendly and helpful. They all spoke English.

The walls are pretty thin so you can definitely hear people out in the hall or closing doors.

The room was very small but perfect fit my needs and very comfortable. The location is ok. Can walk to the old port in about 15 mins.
