The breakfast didn’t really worth it (a coffee machine and a small selection of cold things), but if you need a quick fix in the morning to start the day, it may do the job.

Location is unbeatable, just above the ancient Roman theater - with the corridors and many of the rooms looking directly at it - and just a few hundres of meters away from Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière where you can also find the stop of the funiculaire which will take you down to the lower part of the city in no time. The single room was nothing special; simple and clean with a comfortable bed and a tiny but fully functional bathroom. The staff is lovely.

The hotel was basic, but very nice, really liked it. The view from the city-side windows (3rd floor) was magnificent, one of the best I've ever had in my life! The breakfast was very good and there was enough of everything. The staff was polite, flexible and helpful. The owner organisation does good aid work! Definitely my number one choice the next time I'm in town!

It was all good, but I wouldn't recommend it for people that are VERY out of shape, unless you are planning to take public transport/bring a car since the hotel is up a hill and there is a lot of walking upstairs/uphill involved in getting there.

The staff were super nice, especially the girl in the afternoon shift. The room was clean and equipped with everything you would need.

Its continental breakfast in the canteen is simple but fairly good. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The room is comfy and well-maintained. It is extremely close to heritages: Notre Dame and Roman amphitheater.

Location. It's on the hill and away from the train station and big ships and everything. Just be aware. It's better to take a funicular

Nothing really. I was surprised by how nice the accomodation was given how affordable it was. Really recommend it.

Excellent value for money. Rooms are simple and clean, staff were helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. Location is great right next to the Cathedral.

There is no kittle for hot water. And there is no glass to drink something. It would be much better to have a little freezer in the room.

Can't really think of much. A little dark when entering late at night? Plan your journeys carefully when returning late because you'll need a taxi or scooter to reach the top of the hill if hiking isn't your thing.

Lovely views of the Roman forts in a very beautiful hillside location. Staff were extra courteous and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. Easy access to the funicular to reach the metro and major train stations across western Lyon. After taking public transport, I could easily get to a host of shops, restaurants, and pubs. Toilette, shower, and WiFi were all good as well. Absolute bargain for Lyon!

What I liked about the accommodation the most are the staff. They are very nice, helpful, and accommodating. The room is also good. It was clean and spacious. It is close to Notre Dame Fourvier and the Roman Ruins is just across the street. You can have a nice view of Lyon when you go to third floor. You can go to Vieux Lyon by hiking down or riding the funicular. I had a pleasant stay in this place.

Amazing location. Other reviewers weren't kidding when they said the walk up the hill was steep! So worth it though, lovely and quiet area with easy access to the old town. Also incredible value for money, such a lovely room with modern bathroom. Super clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast too.

Amazing location opposite the Ancient Theatre of Fourvière and next to the Basilique. The place is very secure and clean with a nice enclosed garden where to chill. There is a canteen if you want to have your breakfast / meals there.

The hotel is next to the Roman amphitheater which has open-air concerts in summer - we did not mind the atmosphere but it's something you might want to keep in mind.

It's great value for money, and the location is outstanding but please note that it's up a rather steep hill (you may want to use the funicular). Breakfast is simple but filling. Don't expect a bar or great entertainment options there, just head out for that!

Its located on top of the hill so if you plan to do lots of sightseeing you may end up walking up alot or take the funicular so may suit someone is not mobile.

Great location in Fourviere overlooking the Roman amphiteatre and short walk from Notre Dame cathedral. Room was very clean and comfortable.
