The owner wasn’t friendly at all. Difficult to contact the personnel for amenities ice cubes or other) The place should indicate that access to rooms is only through a steep staircase. The breakfast was quite poor.

The place is beautiful, however in the middle of nowhere. Big rooms, comfortable. Great bathroom. The staff very kind, but only around when we arrived and at breakfast.

Everything perfekt. Starting with a warm welcome, tasty furnished rooms, stunning garden, great recommendations from the landlady, breakfast with a lot of home made and with love prepared stuff, polite and courteous service and the chef de la maison keeps the pool in perfect shape.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Chateau Blomac.. On each of the nights we chose to have dinner on the terrace and they were exceptional experiences. Owners Fred and Jacqueline hosted everyone on a large table, food, wine and the company was excellent and was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast also was first class, lots of home made produce and just a super experience. Chateau is a quiet haven set in lovely gardens. Attitude of all the staff was first class and everyone just couldn't do enough for you.

the chateau is beautifully restored and furnished with Lots of thoughtful touches for guests. Jacqueline and Fred are the perfect hosts. it was a big birthday for me while we were there. They put on a beautiful dinner just for us. They we’re so kind and great company. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

We stayed at the chateau for two nights last week (early September) with our 9 month old baby. The hosts, Fred & Jacqueline, were wonderful; attentive, warm and particularly great at making our stay with a baby easy and comfortable. the table d’hôte was sensational - amazing food, wine and company. A really memorable experience! thank you F&J - we’ll be back!

Apologies for the ‘novel’ but it’s to give background as to why we felt on edge, and hopefully will provide constructive criticism for the owners insensitivity when speaking to guests. During our stay we (2 adults, 2 teenagers) dined at the Chateau one evening, sitting with the owners and other guests, including a couple with two children and another with three children. Everyone got on well. However kids being kids they tried to take a sneaky dip in the pool without our knowledge. It was late, around 10:00pm and they were quite rightly told by the owners that they could not use the pool. After dinner the owners cleared the table. We, with one other couple took our drinks to the garden terrace to finish, (before going to bed). The children from the three families quietly played cards on the terrace - which is away from the main building. So, not noisy. The owners said they were going to bed and were turning off the lights. They asked the children to leave and then TOLD us that we needed to go too. It was 11;30pm! We not not loud or drunk. The manner of their request was a bit abrupt and we were made to feel like an inconvenience. It marred a previously lovely evening. The next day we were out for the whole day. It had been hot - 39 degrees - our teenage girls were looking forward to a quick swim on our return. As they got into the pool, the owner ‘marched’ over purposefully to tell us that the girls could not use the pool as they (the owners) were having dinner with their ‘guests’ and that the girls had been told the night before! (the previous night had been later - we understood that, however this was 8:00pm) and the pool is far enough away from the dining table where a quiet swim can be enjoyed. The times that the pool opens / closes had not been displayed. If they had of been they would have been adhered to. I think these issues could have been dealt with more kindly, with a bit of humour and not in such a reprimanding way. Just saying!

The two young staff members were amazing. Very polite, efficient and obliging. The Chateau itself was beautifully furnished and decorated with great taste. Lovely pool and lovely grounds, well maintained. Clean and comfortable. Dinner (tapas was lovely), gorgeous surroundings.

breakfast was well below what you’d expect in such a stunning hotel - white bread, vache qui rit, industrial cheese (def not from France), no eggs. shame, as just nicer products would do the trick!

We were just passing through on our way to the Pyrenees and stumbled upon this hidden gem by coincidence. But I wish we could have stayed longer! It was such a beautiful place! The castle itself is an impression already, but it’s the owners that make the difference. You can really tell that they put all their love into this B&B and making their guests happy. Spotless clean room (which was the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in), so much love for nice details in every corner of the chateau and the huge park surrounding it, delicious homecooked 4 courses menu (accompanied by the house brand wine) and interesting conversations! We were traveling as a couple but I would also highly recommend it for families and especially for specials events like weddings, birthdays etc. 100% recommended!
