Wonderful place, lovely chatelain couple/owners, great location on a hill-next to the lake Serre-Poncon and Embrun village (5 km), small Crots village at walking distance (boulangerie and restaurant "Chez Pierrot fils"), hiking (e.g. Boscodon area, up to cirque de Morgon or even higher to Pic de Morgon with splendid view on the valleys) and multiple water activities on the lake are all close by, and wake up with a delicious breakfast in the impressive breakfast room. For once in your life, go for your dreams and enjoy feeling like a princess or prince in medieval times.

Jacques and Sharon are amazing hosts! They are friendly and provided great recommendations on where to eat and where to go. The renovations they did exceeded our expectations. It truly is a magical experience being transported back in time. We highly recommend it!

The rooms we had didn't have a view.

Rooms were vey authentic and the hosts were very caring. Loved the renovation movie that they had shown, and the view and the gardens were superb. Shower was excellent too. Loved exploring the different rooms.

The property is exceptional in the atmosphere, location, history and hosts. The stay was very pleasant and authentic. We were welcome by the host who shared with us history of the place and tips for activities in the area. Breakfast was quite fine and the place also offers common kitchen that can be used by guests. We enjoyed exceptional time at the property.

There was nothing I had a problem with.

The hosts Sharon and Jacques are wonderful people. They made us feel very comfortable. When we arrived at the Chateau, Sharon took the time to chat with us and tell us about the place and what we could do in the vicinity. Before we arrived Jacques contacted us and asked about our arrangements for food and if we would need a place to cook. We traveled in a time when restaurants were not open. We really appreciated the hospitality of our hosts. The chateau is situated in a beautiful location, with greenery all around. The breakfast was good and quite filling. We along with other guests were given a tour of the chateau along with descriptions of the history of the place. All in all, if it suits your pocket, I would highly recommend staying here.
