We booked and were supposed to get 2 rooms facing the river, but only 1 out of the 2 rooms was in this category. Rooms were disappointing for 5* hotel.

Although rooms were disappointing for 5^ hotel, they were decorated warmly, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was great, and the location near the eiver is wonderful and relaxing. Apart from the room error, all staff members were very friendly and helpful

No breakfast buffet and an evening restaurant menu presented on anA4 laminated card as though I was in some motorway service. Limited chiice, not value for money and rejected.

This was a return visit and I was disappointed. A change of ownership has brought about a reduction of the quality of this once fabulous hotel.

We were extremely surprised to see Euro-sized mold spots near the bottom of the shower. Well, the property that the château was located on was beautiful property on a river, it was a good 15+ minute walk to the Tramway.

In planning to go see the Strasbourg Christmas markets, we begin booking a little late, but we’re surprised to find a room at the château at a reasonable price. We booked and we were not disappointed. The château itself is stunning, a real treat for the eyes. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially liked the view that we had of the woods and river behind the Château through the large glass, double door. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the chairs at the sitting table. The bathroom is quite large, and we appreciated that there was a separate tub and shower. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering questions about public transportation, etc. Finally, the pool and hot tub were perfect and a great way to start the morning.

First room on highest floor was old and very dingy-musty odor and peeling wallpaper, stained linens. We were moved to a nicer suite but only after paying significant additional fee (hotel was full). This was frustrating as the first room was so poor that we may have left otherwise. Our other family members had a room on the first floor that was very nice, newer, and cleaner with proper ventilation.

Prices in the restaurant and bar are too high. Jacuzzi is too small. The wi-fi signal needs to be stronger.

Very nice castle turned into the hotel. Some facilities require renovation, which will happen next year. Very nice and attentive personnel. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Lack of gym No porter at entrance to help with luggage etc. Basic housekeeping one would expect from a typical 5-star hotel.

It's a bit dated.. but I guess that's also the charm of this place :) A downer was that the restaurant was closed on sunday.

OId-school luxury hotel. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. Sauna and swimming pool facilities. The staff were all flawless.
