Pressure of the shower not to good, maybe it's just me my partner had no issue, tiles in the bathroom not the best with some looking black

Friendly, welcoming hotel, well located in Vieux Lyon. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonably spacious room. Comfortable bed. Clean, and with a good sized bathroom. The hotel decor has a school-focussed theme, consistent with its history. It has a large terrace, great for a drink in the sun on a fine afternoon. There are good restaurants close by, in Vieux Lyon and just across the river.

If anything maybe the breakfast could be improved

The College Hotel was lovely. Welcomed by very friendly staff. The location in the old town was fantastic and walking distance to everything The room was clean, spacious and comfortable The cocktail bar next to the hotel was nice to have after busy day The hotel was a former school with lots of memories of those days still about which was interesting It made our stay in Lyon very enjoyable Thank you

The hotel stresses its school and classroom theme and eco commitment but - room was extremely small and basic - poor soundproofing- could hear voices and phones ringing in other rooms - staff polite but not particularly welcoming - four-star rating is puzzling

In the morning during the checkout process, there were workers sanding the wooden floor in reception. I thought that would be something that should be done at night for people are not using the reception area to check out, etc. it wasn’t too disturbing but it was just odd that the timing was in the morning.

The hotel was very quaint and met all of my needs during my one night stay in Lyon. The breakfast was very pleasant and cost €15. Hotel used to be a school so it has a bit of a design related around college kids but very pleasant overall very satisfied highly recommend.

The room was a little "stark". Not very cosy or homely. But for business travellers, comfortable bed and big hot shower.

Good location in the old part of Lyon. Reception nicely designed. Convenient on site parking.

Perfectly location option in Lyon. Friendly staff, good facilities, original vibe (formerly a school, and the hotel has made this a design statement throughout the palace).

Room was small so we had difficulty managing two suitcases of clothes. Only one small suitcase stand provided. It wouldn’t fit a shell suitcase either. The bed was very firm. No fridge in the room. Ask for milk if you need it for tea in your room.

Hotel is well located in the Vieux Lyon area. Close to key transport buses so easy to travel to main Lyon train station or other key city sites. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. Room was very clean and bathroom modern. Plugs readying positioned to recharge phones etc. Still and sparkling water refill available for free in the foyer. Quirky themed hotel - it was once a school.

Size of room would be difficult with suitcases.

Great location overlooking Old Lyon with restaurants below including Casino minimart. Metro train and bus stop behind the hotel for easy access to Lyon Part Dieu. (Easy walk). Bought a Lyon Pass 24hr & walked across river to gain access to free tours plus used it on bus behind hotel. Room on 7th floor looked out towards the Basilica. Clean and functional but not huge. Wasn’t an issue as we were out all day. Comfy bed. No toiletries but you could ask at reception. Quirky hotel with good vibe.

The room was right on the street and it was very noisy late into the night. We only stayed one night, if our stay was longer I would have asked for another room away from the street.

Our room was very clean and the location was great for enjoying the area during the day.

I didn't like only being in Lyon for 4 nights. It is an incredibly beautiful city and I could have definitely stayed longer. The hotel was awesome!

The location was fantastic in the old part of Lyon. It was easy walking throughout the old town and buses/trains were simple to access from the hotel. The staff helped out with directions as well as restaurant recomendations. If I find myself back in Lyon, this hotel would be an easy choice to go back too.

I had a double expresso for 4€. That is a bit pricy for me pushing a button... Apart from this, I had a good stay.

The room was nice, I had a marvelous view. The parking was close (note, it is small), the location is top! and the staff was very friendly. They had gluten-free bread for breakfast (I did not eat breakfast, but it looked good).

Initially staff reserved a driver to meet us at the airport. The location was perfect. Our last night, a special occasion, staff suggested a nearby small restaurant and it was excellent.

Room size but wasn't a major issue

Location location, location. Right in the middle of Viuex Lyon and very near all attractions that we wished to see. Rooms were small but typically European. They were clean and had all.of the amenities. Staff were more than helpful and courteous and their English was a lot better than my French.
