Everything was delightful! (But bring bug spray)

What a beautiful spot, so calm and peaceful right on the river. Room was cosy and comfortable, food was excellent, and the service friendly in an understated way.

We had arranged to arrive earlier than the booking in time but had to wait 50 minutes outside on the terrace until someone came. Our room was next to the Church and the bells were very loud (not much you could do about this so we laughed about it). It would not stop us staying there again as it was a lovely setting.

The owner was really helpful and made us feel at home. The food was amazing - we had our evening meal there and it was truly wonderful as was the breakfast. A really nice hotel by the river and we would stay again.

This is a really lovely small family run hotel in a great location, just off the main road on the banks of the river with a beautiful view from the terrace. We had a nice comfortable room with air conditioning, which helped a little in 30 degrees! Excellent dinner in the evening and a great breakfast out on the terrace. This was perfect for our one night stopover between destinations.

The rooms were correctly rated as 3star and as advertised. The hoovering around the furniture needs attention.

The location was beautiful. The restaurant was 9/10 the breakfast was healthy, fresh and continental.

The airco was not extremely efficient and loud. WiFi was a bit temperamental and 4G reception is not great either. Checkin only open between 6 and 8 PM.

Lovely family style hotel with two dedicated owners who really care about the customers. Loved the room and the style of property. The absolute highlight is the restaurant where you will be served very good food at reasonably prices.

Wonderful hotel with charm. The room and public ares were spotlessly clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. The terrace was amazing and welcoming. Our dinner, while soaking in the views, was superb. So glad we picked this perfect spot!

Breakfast was expensive for what was provided and wasn't exceptional; as rated by other guests. Not worth £13 euros each.

The room was very nice with an outside seating area provided. The location was lovely looking over the Dordogne river.

Everything was very good.

There was nothing that we did not like. However we went when it was exceptionally hot and felt that the air con was not as efficient as it could be. A minor point perhaps because it is not everyday the temperatures hit 39 degrees!

Charming hotel on the banks of the Dordogne. A small but beautifully kept hotel with plenty of charm. Our room overlooked the river where we could watch the sunset. The restaurant served very good food. very traditional with a nice selection of dishes.

Although the room itself was a good size, the position of the toilet was very cramped against the shower cubicle. So anybody tall was struggle to use it.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant in a fantastic location on the Dordogne river. Excellent, friendly staff. Delicious evening meal and breakfast. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome!

Don’t get there too early as check starts at 1800 hours. Breakfast seemed seemed overpriced for what was provided. No towels in bathroom despite two requests/reminders.

We booked a superior room to splash out on our last night in the Dordogne and the room & bathroom were both inferior to any room we had stayed in that week, including those that were much cheaper. For example there was no kettle, no glasses, the taps were loose. There were strong kitchen smells which put us off having dinner.

Our room was very damp. It smelled damp and one wall was very damp. The sheets were damp and by morning the clothes we took in were damp. It had been re-decorated recently but the dampness really was a big issue in our room. We did inform the staff who told us they were aware of the issue but they were fully booked and could do nothing.

The staff were lovely. The food was lovely. The location was lovely.
