How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We found the room rather small and basic but maybe that's normal for a two star hotel. It would have been useful to have some fliers about tourist attractions and maybe a simple street map.
Location really excellent particularly as we were travelling by train. The breakfast was really good and served with a smile; nothing was too much trouble

There is a tight circular staircase to get to the rooms so anyone with mobility issues or lots of luggage may find that an issue. Given the age and type of building you would expect this though.
The staff at the property are outstanding. Easy up hill walk through the park from the trail station to reach the hotel. For the price it is what you’d expect.

Minor detail in that the shower was not thermostatically controlled so the water temperature did fluctuate.
I arrived late but parking was reserved opposite the hotel. The room was comfortable with a small ensuite shower. There was space to put my luggage and a comfortable bed. Also a plug for phone by the bed. Staff were extremely welcoming in the morning for breakfast which was good.

Bathroom is narrow. Sound isolation is probably not great but our neighbors were calm and pleasant
Warm welcome . Ideally located in the city center nearby a park , the window opens on the pak on a sunny spring days with birds singing .The ned mattress was comfortable

The walls are very thin and you can hear a lot from the other rooms, but still I would stay there again.
I loved this little French Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and kind.

Small shower cubicle and a concertina door. 2 flights of stairs.
Very welcoming proprietor. Excellent breakfast. Great for the dogs. Private garage parking.

The breakfast was good and the staff was lovely - friendly, informative and helpful. The room was quite basic, but the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Good value and we will return.

No lift, bedroom on 2nd floor.
Breakfast was good, fresh fruit & home made yoghurt excellent. Staff excellent & welcoming. Secure parking good. Parking reserved for Hotel use outside the front door to unload, you then have to drive 50m to the secure parking, the street the hotel is on is no through road so you have to reverse out if you are unable to turn round.

It is a bit of a distance to walk into town especially when it’s raining and your GPS continues to goof up!
Beautiful old hotel in Béziers. Very close to Jardin des Poetes. Very nice staff!

The hotel is in a great location for connections with the air-port shuttle to the rail station and future rail connections. The hotel is situated alongside a charming sculpture park. The area is generally quite quiet, despite a main road junction. For a two star hotel, my double room was large neat, clean and very comfortable, with a small balcony. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful. There are good bistros and bars nearby.

The Room was a nice size. The walls are very thin so I could hear people coughing and chatting next door. It would be great to get some extra insulation in there.

Quick reminder, remote control in 12 needs a check.
Excellent hotel just up from Bezier's train station. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is just across from a great park which must be visited before your leave. This was a short stay for me but everything was clean and tidy and no issues at all.
